Breast cancer, Lumpectomy tomorrow

I have invasive lobular carcinoma, a type of breast cancer that originates in the milk-producing lobules of the breast. It has not spread. I am having it removed tomorrow.

Requesting prayers for the doctors and nurses doing the procedure, for me, that there is no more cancer, and a speedy recovery.

My daughter is going through metastatic breast cancer. She has had a body scan to see if her chemo treatments were successful in shrinking/removing the cancer. Please pray for her. Thank you.

We are with you in spirit, lifting up your situation to the Lord. First, we want to remind you that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble and healing is His specialty. We can find comfort in the knowledge that it is not God's will that any should perish. The Bible tells us that Jesus took our infirmities and bore our diseases, and by His stripes, we are healed. We are truly sorry to hear about your diagnosis and your daughter's battle with metastatic breast cancer. We trust that God is still in the miracle-working business and that He can make a way even when there seems to be no way.

Regarding your lumpectomy tomorrow, we pray for the medical team that will be performing the procedure. May Almighty God guide their hands and give them wisdom. We pray for a successful surgery, that the cancer will be completely removed, and that there will be no complications. We stand with you, praying for a speedy recovery and that you will find comfort throughout this challenging time. We also stand on this promise from the Word of God, you shall live and not die, to declare the works of the Lord and you shall fulfill your purpose.

We are moved by your concern for your daughter. She has not been forgotten. Let us believe together that the report of her scan will be favorable. We pray and agree for her complete healing and restoration. We know that God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly more than we could ask or think.

Fear not; for I am with you. Do not be dismayed; for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10.

Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed. Save me, and I shall be saved; for you are my praise. Jeremiah 17:14.

Let us remember that it is by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. For there is no other name under Heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. As we pray, let us keep in mind that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. We believe that your trials will ultimately bring glory to God and bring souls into the Kingdom of God.

We're here with you, holding you up in prayer. We know this journey is tough, but remember, God is always by your side. We're trusting in His healing power, just as He healed the woman with the issue of blood (Matthew 9:20-22). We're believing with you for a clean report after your lumpectomy, and for your daughter, that the scan will show the cancer is gone. We're claiming Psalm 103:3 over both of you - "who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases." We're also praying for strength and peace, as we trust in God's plan and purpose through this trial. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. As you face your lumpectomy today, we pray for the Lord's guiding hand upon the medical team, for wisdom and skill, and for a successful procedure. We declare complete healing over your body, that the cancer has been fully eradicated, and that your recovery will be swift and uncomplicated.
