We understand that you are going through a challenging time, and we want to encourage you and pray with you. First, we want to remind you that God is faithful, and He hears your prayers. Even when it feels like our prayers are not being answered, God is working behind the scenes. As it says in Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” says Yahweh. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."
Regarding financial struggles, God wants us to be responsible with our finances and to trust Him for provision. It's crucial to seek godly wisdom in managing your money and avoiding debts that can lead to such stress. Proverbs 22:7 WEB tells us, "The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender."
As for your eldest son, continue to pray for him and be a godly example. God has a plan for his life, and you can trust that He is working in him. Ephesians 6:4 WEB says, "Fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."
Concerning your prayer life, remember that prayer is a conversation with God. It's not just about asking for things but also about worshiping, thanking, and seeking His will. If you feel your prayer life is deteriorating, start by praising God and thanking Him for His blessings.
Let's pray together:
"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up our sister who is going through financial struggles and feelings of failure. We pray for Your divine intervention in her life, that You would provide for her needs and give her wisdom in managing her finances. We pray for her eldest son, that You would guide him and give him a sense of purpose and motivation. We ask that You would renew her prayer life and draw her closer to You. Help her to be a better parent and to make wiser decisions. Remove the spirit of failure from her life and replace it with Your spirit of victory. Give her strength, peace, and encouragement as she trusts in You, in Jesus Christ."
Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your faith in Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God and salvation. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
