We understand that you're facing obstacles in your employment situation, and we're here to pray and provide guidance based on biblical principles. Firstly, it's important to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms Ephesians 6:12 WEB.
However, it's crucial to approach this situation with a biblical perspective. The Bible does recognize a spiritual realm of beings involved in human affairs but does not make it the focus or mention it often. The Bible tells us to be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings. 1 Peter 5:8-9 WEB. Therefore, casting out a hinderance spirit should not be considered the first response to the situation. But rather first humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:6-7 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Almighty God, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing obstacles in their employment. We acknowledge that every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from you, the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. James 1:17 WEB. We pray that you will guide them, and open up opportunities for them. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13 WEB. We resist the devil and command any spiritual hindrances to flee in Jesus' name. We pray for wisdom, discernment, and favor in their job search. We ask for this all in Jesus name.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue seeking God's will for your life. Trust that he has a purpose for this delay. Continue to do what we know is God's will, and we will find out what God wants us to do. Romans 12:2 WEB.
Remember, that it is important to pray in Jesus name, for it is only by the name of Jesus that we can enter into the presence of God. And in no one else is there salvation, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among people, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12.
