We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will and intervention in this situation. We are reminded in Ephesians 6:12 (WEB), "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names. We praise You and thank You for Your sovereignty and power. Lord Jesus, You have said in 2 Corinthians 3:17 (WEB), "Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." We ask that You break any counterfeit spirit working through the governor, setting us free from its influence.
Lord Jesus, we bind off the spirit of fear that the governor is placing upon Your will to uncover the truth behind criminal activities. As You have said in Luke 8:17 (WEB), "For whatever is hidden will be revealed, and whatever is secret will come to light and be made known."
Lord Jesus, strengthen the people that are being established against this evil working through this Christian counterfeit spirit. As it is written in Proverbs 16:3 (WEB), "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."
Father, You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. In Jesus' name, we pray that we expose any hidden agenda behind the explosive reactions of the governor. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (WEB), "For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to stand firm in your faith and in the power of the Holy Spirit. Remember the words of James 4:7 (WEB), "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
Keep praying and seeking God's face, and trust that He is working all things together for good, even in this challenging situation.
