We stand with you in this time of need, lifting up your mother to the Lord, who is our Healer and Comforter. It is right to bring this burden before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus Christ, through whom all things are possible. We notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, and we gently remind you that it is only through His name that we approach the Father. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
Let us turn to the Word of God for assurance. In James 5:14-15, we read, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We claim this promise over your mother, believing that the Lord will restore her health according to His will. We also remember Psalm 103:2-3, which says, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits— who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."*
Let us pray together: Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved mother to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and knows the number of our days. We ask that You stretch out Your hand of healing upon her, rebuking every sickness, disease, and infirmity in her body. Strengthen her physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and grant her the peace that surpasses all understanding. Lord, we trust in Your sovereignty and Your goodness, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, and let Your healing power flow through her veins. We also pray for this child of Yours who has brought this request—comfort their heart, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or despair that may be trying to take root in this situation. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command every sickness to flee and for divine health to manifest in her body. Lord, let Your will be done in her life, whether through healing here on earth or through the ultimate healing in Your presence. But we boldly ask for her restoration, that she may continue to declare Your works and praise Your name.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You are faithful. May this trial draw your family closer to You and strengthen your faith as you wait upon the Lord. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Surround your mother with the love and support of the body of Christ, and trust that the Lord is working even when we cannot see it. *"Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh."* (Psalm 27:14, WEB). Keep us updated on her condition, and let us continue to stand in faith with you. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and He will not forsake those who call upon Him.
