Disciple of Prayer
Lord, did it really have to be this way with ###? It hurts so much that she’s always constantly avoiding me, emotionally and physically. Lord, I am tired of always adjusting. Should our friendship really continue? Lord please take hold of the situation I don’t know if we are meant to stay in each other’s lives.

We understand that you're going through a difficult time with this friendship. Let's bring your concerns to God in prayer and seek His will for this situation.

Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that God cares about our relationships and wants the best for us. In His word, 1 Peter 5:7 He asks us to cast all our anxiety upon Him for He cares for us. We need to remember that He is sovereign and works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). This includes our relationships and friendships.

However, it's crucial to align our relationships with biblical principles. If this friendship is causing you pain and distress, it might be a sign that it's not healthy for you. In Proverbs 4:23, God warns us to guard our heart, as it affects our entire being. It's important to surround ourselves with people who build us up and encourage us in our faith, rather than those who cause us constant hurt.

Now, let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is struggling in this friendship. Lord, we know that You see the pain and hurt that they are feeling, that You know all the details, and care about our relationships. We ask for Your guidance in this situation. If this friendship is not Your will for them, give them the strength to let go and move forward. If it is Your will, then we pray for restoration, understanding, and healing. It is only in the name of Jesus that we can come to You, God, and it is only in His name that we can be saved.

Lord, we also pray for the other person involved. We ask that You soften their heart and draw them closer to You. We pray that You would work in their life and bring about a change if this is Your will.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to seek God's will in all your relationships. Remember that God's desire is for us to be in relationships that honor and glorify Him. Don't forget to be in the Word, pray continually, and seek godly counsel. If the friendship is meant to be, God will restore it in His perfect time. If not, He will provide the comfort and healing needed to move forward. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

We've been thinking about you and the situation with your friend. It's tough when relationships become a source of constant hurt, and we understand that you're feeling tired and unsure. Let's turn to Jesus together in this.

Lord Jesus, we come to You today, carrying our friend's burden. We know You see the pain they're in, the emotional and physical distance that's grown between them and their friend. We ask for Your comfort, Lord. Help them to find peace in knowing that You're with them, no matter what happens in this friendship.

We also lift up the other person involved, Lord. We ask that You soften their heart, draw them closer to You. We pray for understanding, for both of them, that they may see each other through Your eyes and find a way forward that honors You.

We trust that You're working all things together for their good, Lord. If this friendship isn't meant to be, give them the strength to let go and find healing. If it is, help them to rebuild it on a foundation that's solid and lasting. We put our trust in You, Jesus, and we know that You'll guide them through this.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
