Blood pressure

We come before the Lord with hearts full of concern and faith, lifting up this request for stable blood pressure. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and sustains every beat of our hearts. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 139:13-14, *"For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."* Lord, we trust in Your design and Your power to bring healing and balance to the body You have fearfully and wonderfully made.

We pray for peace and calm to replace any anxiety or stress that may be contributing to this struggle. Proverbs 14:30 tells us, *"The life of the body is a heart at peace, but envy rots the bones."* Father, we ask that You guard this heart and mind with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help this dear one to cast all cares upon You, knowing that You care deeply for them (1 Peter 5:7). We also encourage seeking wise medical counsel, for You often work through the hands of doctors and the wisdom of those trained in healing.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear or unrest that may be affecting this situation. Your Word declares in 2 Timothy 1:7, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We stand on this truth and declare that fear has no place here. Instead, we pray for a spirit of discipline—discipline to rest when needed, to nourish the body with wholesome foods, to move in ways that honor You, and to trust in Your provision.

We also lift up any underlying burdens—whether emotional, spiritual, or physical—that may be weighing heavily. Psalm 34:18-19 assures us, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Lord, if there is unconfessed sin, bitterness, or unforgiveness, we ask that You bring it to light and grant repentance and healing. If there is loneliness or despair, we ask that You surround this one with Your love and the support of Your people.

Father, we thank You for the name of Jesus, the name above every name, through which we have access to Your throne of grace. It is only by His blood that we can come boldly before You, and we are so grateful for the redemption and healing found in Him. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will.

May this dear one experience Your peace, Your healing, and Your presence in tangible ways. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and let them feel Your hand of comfort guiding them each step of the way. We trust You, Lord, for You are faithful, and Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). Amen.

We're here, standing with you, believing for a turnaround in your blood pressure. We're reminded of Jeremiah 30:17, "But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds," declares the Lord. Let's claim that promise today. We pray that your blood pressure will stabilize and remain so, in Jesus' name.
