We come before the Lord with grateful hearts that you have called upon the name of Jesus in your request, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or find true healing. We lift your concern about your blood pressure to our Heavenly Father, who knit you together in your mother’s womb and knows every beat of your heart.
Father God, we ask You to touch this dear one’s body with Your healing hand. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* We stand on this promise, believing that You are the Great Physician who can bring stability and peace to every part of the body. Calm the pressures of life that may be weighing on their heart, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also recognize, Father, that our physical health is often connected to how we steward the temple You have given us. We pray that You would grant wisdom in making choices that honor You—whether in diet, rest, exercise, or managing stress. Proverbs 3:7-8 reminds us, *"Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones."* May this truth guide their daily habits, leading to lasting wellness.
If there is any unconfessed sin, anxiety, or unforgiveness that may be contributing to this struggle, we ask You to reveal it, Lord. Your Word says in 1 John 1:9, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* We pray for a heart that is quick to repent and quick to receive Your mercy, knowing that freedom in Christ brings freedom to the body as well.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or infirmity that may be attacking their health, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we speak stability over their blood pressure in the mighty name of Jesus.
Lastly, Lord, we ask that You would surround them with godly community—believers who can pray, encourage, and walk alongside them in this season. May they find strength in Your presence and hope in Your promises.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust You to move mightily on their behalf, for Your glory and their good. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
