Blood pressure

We come before the Lord with hearts full of concern and faith, lifting up this request for stable blood pressure. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and sustains every beat of our hearts. Your Word tells us in Psalm 139:13-14, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." Lord, we ask that You would touch this dear one’s body, bringing peace and balance to their blood pressure. Let it stabilize according to Your perfect will, and grant them wisdom in caring for the temple You have entrusted to them.

We also recognize, Father, that our physical health is often connected to our spiritual and emotional well-being. In Proverbs 14:30, Your Word says, "A tranquil heart gives life to the flesh, but envy makes the bones rot." We pray against any stress, anxiety, or fear that may be contributing to this struggle. Fill this precious one with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, as Philippians 4:6-7 promises: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Lord, we also encourage this beloved child of God to seek wise counsel—not only from medical professionals but from Your Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit. Remind them to honor You with their body, as 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 declares: "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." Guide them in making choices that reflect reverence for the life You have given—choices about diet, exercise, rest, and the management of stress.

And Father, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or fear that may be seeking to afflict this one. In the name of Jesus, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on the truth that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that healing and stability in this situation.

We also thank You for the privilege of coming before Your throne in the name of Jesus. There is no other name by which we can approach You, for Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is only through Jesus Christ, Your Son, that we have access to You, and we are so grateful for His sacrifice that bridges the gap between us and You. If this dear one has not fully surrendered their life to Jesus, we pray that they would do so today, confessing Him as Lord and believing in their heart that You raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). May they experience the fullness of Your love, grace, and healing power.

Lord, we trust You with this request. We believe that You are working even now, and we choose to praise You in advance for the answer. Strengthen this one’s faith, remind them of Your faithfulness, and draw them closer to You through this trial. May they feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with them, holding them, and guiding them every step of the way.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
