We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of financial debt and harassment. First, we acknowledge that you have come to the Father in the name of Jesus, which is the only way to approach God and the only name by which we can be saved. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6). We are grateful that you have called upon His name, for there is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain and bring deliverance.
Father, we ask for Your forgiveness on behalf of this dear one, knowing that we all have sinned and fall short of Your glory (Romans 3:23). We thank You for the blood of Jesus that washes away all sin and cleanses us from unrighteousness (1 John 1:7). We also ask that You reveal any areas in this situation where sin may have contributed to the debt, whether through poor stewardship, covetousness, or lack of contentment. Help them to repent and turn away from any ungodly financial habits, for "the borrower is servant to the lender" (Proverbs 22:7). We rebuke the spirit of financial bondage in the name of Jesus and declare that this burden shall not have dominion over them.
Lord, we cry out for Your divine intervention in this matter. You are the God who provides, Jehovah Jireh (Genesis 22:14), and we ask that You open doors of opportunity for this one to increase their income, manage their finances wisely, and honor their debts according to Your will. We do not ask for a miracle that removes responsibility, but rather for Your supernatural provision to meet every need. You have promised, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We stand on this promise and declare that their needs shall be met.
We also lift up the harassment from debt collectors. Father, You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke the spirit of intimidation and oppression in the name of Jesus. We pray that You would restrain the hands of those who seek to harass and threaten, for "no weapon that is formed against you will prevail" (Isaiah 54:17). We ask that You grant wisdom to handle these interactions with grace and dignity, and that You would soften the hearts of those who are persecuting them. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for protection over their new job. Father, You are the One who gives the power to get wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18), and we ask that You establish the work of their hands. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let no tongue that rises against them in judgment prevail (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that their employment shall be secure and that they will walk in favor with their employers and colleagues.
Regarding the request for a personal loan, we ask that You guide them in wisdom. If it is Your will for them to receive this loan, we pray that the process would be smooth and without hassle, and that the terms would be fair and manageable. However, we also ask that You reveal any hidden snares or unwise financial decisions. "The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender" (Proverbs 22:7). Help them to seek counsel and make decisions that honor You.
Father, we also ask that You would heal any shame or dishonor that has come upon their family because of this debt. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that their family shall walk in Your peace and that their reputation shall be restored. Let Your light shine in this situation, and may others see Your glory through their testimony.
We pray for a spirit of contentment to fill their heart. Help them to be satisfied with what they have, for You have said, "Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be content with what you have, for God has said, 'I will never leave you or forsake you'" (Hebrews 13:5). Let them seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, and trust that all these things shall be added unto them (Matthew 6:33).
In all these things, we declare that this debt shall not define them. They are more than conquerors through Christ who loved them (Romans 8:37). We speak life, provision, and peace over their situation. We rebuke the spirit of lack and declare that they shall walk in financial freedom. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for moving on their behalf. We trust in Your timing and Your perfect will.
Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for Your glory and honor. Amen.
