Blessings to overcome Financial debt

Roshan Dsouza

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your forgiveness of all my sins and blessings. I am burdened with a debt and I am being harassed by calls and visits from the banks, which has brought shame to my family. Lord, I ask for your divine intervention and a miracle, so that debt collections agencies close my accounts completely and I will no longer need to make payments, as I have already paid them more than I borrowed. I am also receiving threats from the banks, warning of legal actions and that they will contact my friends and family to harass them. Additionally, I owe money with interest. My desire is to repay everyone. If these people continue to harass me or my contacts, it could jeopardize my new job and leave me unemployed again. Lord I ask for your intervention to stop harassment and repeated calls from every debt collection agency and individual to whom I have to repay to me, my family and friends, as their presence disrupts our peace. Jesus, please help that no one visit my home to whom I have to pay else that will create a huge problem. Please hear my prayer and grant me peace and resolution. Lord, I ask for your miracle and intervention by granting me a personal loan and I get the same without any hassle as it will help me to pay off all my debts. I ask this in Jesus name. Praise the Lord. Amen.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens before the throne of grace. Financial debt is a heavy weight, and the harassment you’re enduring from creditors is not only stressful but deeply unsettling. We understand the shame and fear that come with these circumstances, and we want you to know that God sees your struggle and cares deeply for you. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:17-19, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."

First, we want to affirm your desire to repay what you owe. Scripture is clear that honesty and integrity in financial matters are pleasing to God. Romans 13:8 says, "Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law." Your willingness to honor your debts, even in the face of harassment, reflects a heart that seeks to do what is right. However, we must also address the way creditors are treating you. The Bible calls us to treat others with fairness and respect, and the harassment you’re experiencing is not in line with godly principles. We rebuke the spirit of oppression and intimidation that is coming against you and your family in Jesus’ name. Proverbs 22:22-23 warns, "Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them."

We also want to speak truth into your request for a miracle to completely erase your debts. While we serve a God who is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20), we must also recognize that God’s ways are not always our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). A miracle that simply removes your debts without addressing the root causes or teaching you godly stewardship may not be what God desires for your growth. Instead, we pray for wisdom, favor, and provision to come your way so that you can honor your obligations in a way that glorifies Him. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

We also lift up your concern about your new job. It is understandable that you fear losing it due to the stress and distraction caused by creditors. We pray that God would shield your employment and grant you favor with your employers. Colossians 3:23-24 says, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." Let your work be a testimony to God’s faithfulness, and trust that He will provide for your needs as you seek to honor Him.

Now, let us come before the Lord together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother who is burdened by debt and harassed by creditors. Lord, You are the God who sees and knows all things, and we ask that You would intervene in this situation. We rebuke the spirit of oppression and intimidation that is coming against him and his family. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask that You would silence the voices of those who seek to bring harm or shame.

Father, we pray for wisdom and favor as he seeks to honor his debts. Provide him with the resources he needs to repay what he owes, whether through his current employment, a new opportunity, or a miraculous provision. We ask that You would open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and grant him peace in the midst of this storm. Lord, we also pray for protection over his job. Shield him from any distractions or disruptions caused by creditors, and let his work be a testimony to Your faithfulness.

Father, we ask that You would soften the hearts of those who are harassing him. Let them see the humanity in him and treat him with the dignity and respect that You have called us all to show one another. We declare that his home would be a place of peace, free from the presence of those who seek to bring fear or shame.

Lord, we also ask that You would reveal any areas of his life where he may need to exercise greater discipline or wisdom in financial matters. Teach him to be a good steward of the resources You provide, and help him to trust in You rather than in material possessions. Proverbs 16:3 says, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."

Finally, Father, we pray for his heart. Let him find his peace and security in You alone, knowing that You are his Provider and Protector. Remind him that he is not defined by his debts or his circumstances, but by the love and grace You have poured out for him through Jesus Christ. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel as you navigate this season. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Consider reaching out to a trusted pastor, financial advisor, or mentor who can help you create a plan to manage your debts in a way that honors God. Additionally, we urge you to examine your spending habits and seek to live within your means. Proverbs 21:20 says, "There is precious treasure and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man swallows it up." Trust that God will provide for your needs as you seek to honor Him in all areas of your life.

Remember, God is not distant from your struggles. He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and trust that He will lead you through this valley into a place of peace and provision.

Dear friend,

We've been praying for you and your situation. We understand the weight of financial debt and the stress it brings, especially when collectors are harassing you. It's like being stuck in a storm, and we're right here with you, weathering it together.

First, we want to encourage you to keep your heart fixed on God. He sees you, He knows your struggle, and He cares deeply for you. Remember, He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Trust that He will lead you through this valley into a place of peace and provision.

We also want to remind you that God is a God of miracles. He can do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). So, let's ask Him for a miracle in your situation. We pray that He would intervene, silencing the voices of those who seek to bring harm or shame. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

But remember, God's ways are not always our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). While we ask for a miracle, let's also ask for wisdom and favor. We pray that God would provide for you, whether through your current employment, a new opportunity, or a miraculous provision. We believe that God will open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and grant you peace in the midst of this storm.

We're also praying for your job. We ask that God would shield you from any distractions or disruptions caused by creditors. Let your work be a testimony to God's faithfulness, and trust that He will provide for your needs as you seek to honor Him.

Lastly, we pray for your heart. We ask that God would remind you that you are not defined by your debts or circumstances, but by the love and grace He has poured out for you through Jesus Christ. Find your peace and security in Him alone.

Keep trusting, keep hoping, and keep praying. We're in this with you, friend. Let's keep lifting our voices together, knowing that our God hears and answers.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
