We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of financial debt and the overwhelming stress it brings. First, we thank God for the honesty and humility in acknowledging this struggle, and we stand in agreement with the desire to honor Him even in the midst of hardship. The Word reminds us in Psalm 37:21, "The wicked borrow and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously." While debt is not inherently sinful, the Bible does call us to be faithful stewards of what God has entrusted to us, and we must seek His wisdom in managing it.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and harassment that has come against this household. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray against the tactics of debt collectors who operate outside the bounds of fairness and respect—may the Lord intervene to stop any unlawful harassment, whether by phone, visit, or contact with loved ones. We ask for divine protection over this new job, that no outside interference would disrupt the provision God is bringing.
Father, we lift up the desire to repay what is owed. Proverbs 3:27-28 says, "Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it. Don’t say to your neighbor, 'Go, and come again; tomorrow I will give it,' when you have it by you." We ask for wisdom in managing finances, for favor in finding lawful and honorable solutions, and for doors to open that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). While we do not presume upon miracles that bypass responsibility, we do believe in Your power to provide in ways that glorify You. We pray for a loan if it is Your will, but more than that, we pray for supernatural provision—whether through increased income, unexpected gifts, or divine connections that lead to financial breakthrough.
We also address the weight of shame that has come with this struggle. Romans 8:1 declares, "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus." Shame is not from God, and we break its hold in Jesus’ name. We speak restoration over this family’s reputation and peace over their home. May the Lord grant them favor with creditors, that they may find mercy and structured repayment plans that do not crush them under unbearable burdens.

Heavenly Father, we come before You as a family in Christ, lifting up this heavy burden of debt and harassment. Lord, You see the weight of this struggle, and You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We ask for Your divine intervention to stop the harassment and bring peace to this home. Protect this new job, Lord, and let no outside force disrupt the provision You are bringing. We pray for wisdom in managing finances, for favor in resolving debts honorably, and for supernatural provision to meet every need. Break the spirit of shame and fear, and replace it with Your peace and hope. We declare that You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we trust in Your faithfulness to lead this family into financial freedom. May every creditor be satisfied, and may this household walk in the fullness of Your blessing. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to seek godly counsel—whether through a trusted pastor, financial advisor, or Christian debt ministry—to help navigate this season with wisdom. The Bible says in Proverbs 15:22, "Without counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Do not carry this burden alone. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Stand on His promises, and remember that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
