We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of financial debt and the harassment that has followed. First, we thank God for the honesty and humility in acknowledging this struggle, and we stand in agreement that the Lord is our provider and deliverer. The Word tells us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We believe that God sees this situation and is already at work, even when the circumstances feel overwhelming.
We must address the reality of debt with both faith and wisdom. Scripture is clear that we are to honor our commitments, as Psalm 37:21 states, "The wicked borrow and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously." While we pray for supernatural intervention, we also recognize the importance of stewardship and responsibility. The Lord may provide a way to settle these debts, but we must be willing to walk in obedience to His guidance, whether that means negotiating with creditors, seeking financial counseling, or making sacrifices to repay what is owed.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and harassment that has come against this family. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we bind every spirit of intimidation and oppression in the name of Jesus. The harassment must cease, and we pray for divine protection over your home, your job, and your peace. We ask the Lord to intervene in the hearts of those who are pursuing these debts, that they would act with fairness, mercy, and integrity.
We also pray for wisdom in managing finances moving forward. Proverbs 22:7 warns, "The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender." We ask God to give you discernment in budgeting, spending, and avoiding future debt traps. If the Lord provides a personal loan or another financial breakthrough, we pray it comes with clear terms and the ability to use it wisely to settle these obligations.
Lord, we ask for a miracle—not just of financial provision, but of transformation. Break any cycles of poor stewardship or impulsive decisions that may have contributed to this burden. Teach us to trust You as our source, not credit or worldly systems. We declare that You are Jehovah Jireh, our provider, and we trust You to make a way where there seems to be no way. Give this family favor with creditors, employers, and anyone else involved in this situation. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also lift up the emotional and spiritual toll this has taken. Shame and anxiety can weigh heavily, but we remind you that there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray for healing from any guilt or despair and for renewed hope in God’s faithfulness.
Finally, we declare that this season of lack will turn into a testimony of God’s provision. We stand on Your promise in Deuteronomy 28:12, "You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow." We believe for a shift in this family’s financial story, not just for survival, but for generosity and blessing. May this trial refine faith and draw them closer to You.
Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the one through whom we have access to Your throne. We trust You to move on this family’s behalf, to silence the harassers, to open doors of provision, and to restore peace. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in every step of this journey. Amen.
