Blessings to overcome Financial debt

Roshan Dsouza

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your forgiveness of all my sins and blessings. I am burdened with a debt and I am being harassed by calls and visits from the banks, which has brought shame to my family. Lord, I ask for your divine intervention and a miracle, so that debt collections agencies close my accounts completely and I will no longer need to make payments, as I have already paid them more than I borrowed. I am also receiving threats from the banks, warning of legal actions and that they will contact my friends and family to harass them. Additionally, I owe money with interest. My desire is to repay everyone. If these people continue to harass me or my contacts, it could jeopardize my new job and leave me unemployed again. Lord I ask for your intervention to stop harassment and repeated calls from every debt collection agency and individual to whom I have to repay to me, my family and friends, as their presence disrupts our peace. Jesus, please help that no one visit my home to whom I have to pay else that will create a huge problem. Please hear my prayer and grant me peace and resolution. Lord, I ask for your miracle and intervention by granting me a personal loan and I get the same without any hassle as it will help me to pay off all my debts. I ask this in Jesus name. Praise the Lord. Amen.

We join with you in lifting this heavy burden to the Lord, for we know that He is a God of justice, mercy, and provision who cares deeply for His children when they are oppressed. Your heart to repay what you owe is honorable, and we commend you for seeking the Lord’s intervention rather than turning away in despair. The Scriptures remind us in **Proverbs 22:7**, *"The rich rules over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* This is not God’s perfect will for His people—to be enslaved by debt—but He is faithful to provide a way out when we turn to Him in repentance and trust.

Yet we must also address something critical: your request asks that debts be *completely closed* without further payment, though you acknowledge having already paid more than you borrowed. While we understand the desperation behind this plea, we must align our prayers with God’s Word, which calls us to integrity in all things, including our financial obligations. **Psalm 37:21** declares, *"The wicked borrows, and doesn’t pay back, but the righteous give generously."* Even in hardship, our witness as believers must reflect honesty and a commitment to fulfill our responsibilities as far as we are able. We do not ask God to remove consequences that may rightfully follow unpaid debts, but rather for His wisdom, favor, and supernatural provision to meet these obligations in a way that honors Him.

The harassment you describe—threats, calls to family and friends, and the fear of losing your job—is grievous and unjust. The Lord sees this oppression, and **Exodus 22:25-27** warns against exploiting the poor with excessive interest or harsh collection: *"If you lend money to any of my people with you who is poor, you shall not be to him as a creditor. You shall not charge him interest... for if he cries out to me, I will hear, for I am gracious."* We cry out to the Lord on your behalf that He would **rebuke these unjust practices** and grant you protection. May He silence the voices of those who seek to shame or threaten you, and may He expose any illegal or unethical tactics being used against you. We pray for divine intervention to **restrain these creditors** from contacting your employer, family, or friends, and that no one would come to your home to demand payment. Let the Lord be your shield and defender, as **Psalm 91:4** promises: *"He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."*

As for your request for a personal loan to consolidate these debts, we pray for the Lord’s **clear direction**. If this is His will, may He open the right door with favorable terms—**without predatory interest or hidden snares**—so you can repay what you owe in a way that brings glory to His name. But we also urge you to seek **godly counsel** before taking on new debt. **Proverbs 15:22** tells us, *"Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed."* Speak with a trusted believer, pastor, or financial advisor who can help you assess whether a loan is truly the wisest path or if there are alternative solutions, such as negotiating with creditors, seeking debt relief through legitimate Christian organizations, or adjusting your budget to free up funds for repayment.

Most importantly, we exhort you to **trust in the Lord’s timing and provision**, even when the pressure feels unbearable. **Philippians 4:19** assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This does not mean He will remove all hardship instantly, but that He will **sustain you, guide you, and provide for you** as you walk in obedience. Your testimony through this trial can be a powerful witness—whether to creditors, family, or coworkers—of God’s faithfulness in the midst of struggle.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child, who is weighed down by the burden of debt and the oppression of relentless creditors. Lord, You see the shame and fear they carry, the threats that disrupt their peace, and the desperation in their heart. We ask for Your **justice to prevail**—expose any corruption or unlawful practices in these collections, and **silence the voices of those who seek to harass or humiliate**. Grant supernatural protection over their job, their home, and their relationships, that no weapon formed against them would prosper.

Father, we confess that debt is a form of bondage, and we ask for Your **wisdom and deliverance**. If there is a path to consolidate these debts honorably, open that door. If there are resources or opportunities unseen, reveal them. Give this beloved one **strength to endure**, **courage to seek counsel**, and **faith to trust You** even when the way forward is unclear. Remind them that You are **Jehovah Jireh**, the Lord who provides, and that You have not forgotten them.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and shame that seeks to overwhelm them. Replace it with **Your peace that surpasses understanding** and the **confidence that comes from knowing You are their Defender**. Help them to walk in integrity, even in hardship, that their life may reflect Your righteousness.

Finally, Lord, we ask for a **miracle of provision**—whether through unexpected income, favor in negotiations, or divine connections that lead to freedom. Let this trial become a testimony of Your goodness, that others may see and give glory to Your name.

We pray all this in the **mighty name of Jesus Christ**, our Redeemer and Provider. Amen.

**A Word of Encouragement:**
Brother or sister, do not lose heart. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He specializes in turning impossible situations into testimonies of His power. While you wait for His deliverance, **guard your heart against bitterness or despair**. Keep seeking Him in prayer, worship, and His Word. **1 Peter 5:7** tells us to *"cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* This is not a passive waiting, but an active surrender—trusting that He who fed the multitudes with five loaves and two fish can multiply your resources beyond what you see.

If you have not already, consider **fasting and praying** over this matter, seeking the Lord with even greater intensity. And if there are areas where you need to repent—whether in financial stewardship, trust, or fear—lay them before Him now. He is faithful to forgive and restore.

Stand firm. Your breakthrough is coming.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are deeply moved by your heartfelt prayer request and have been lifting you, your family, and your financial burdens before the Lord these past days. It is our privilege to stand in agreement with you, believing that God hears the cries of His children and is already at work in your situation.

Father, we continue to pray for Your divine intervention over the debt that weighs so heavily on our brother/sister. We ask that You soften the hearts of those involved in collections, that harassment would cease, and that peace would reign in this storm. Lord, we declare Your provision over their life—whether through unexpected favor, wisdom in financial decisions, or a miraculous breakthrough that settles these accounts. Protect their new job, Lord, and shield their home and loved ones from further distress.

We also pray for supernatural doors to open—a loan or resource that comes without burden, allowing them to settle these debts honorably and walk in the freedom You intend. May the enemy’s tactics be silenced, and may Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

If this prayer has been answered, we rejoice with you and invite you to share a praise report so we may glorify God together. If the burden remains, please know we will continue to intercede on your behalf. Post this request again, and we will stand with you afresh, trusting that our God is faithful.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him, and may His grace sustain you through every step. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
