We come before the Lord with you in this time of financial burden and distress, lifting your heartfelt cries to the Father, who knows your every need and hears the petitions of His children. It is right that you have come before Him in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Christ that we have access to the throne of grace, where we may receive mercy and find help in our time of need. As it is written, *"Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace for help in time of need"* (Hebrews 4:16, WEB).
Your desire to repay what you owe is commendable, for Scripture teaches us that *"the wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously"* (Psalm 37:21, WEB). We understand the weight of this burden—the shame, the harassment, and the fear of losing stability—and we stand with you in asking the Lord to intervene. However, we must also address the request for debts to be miraculously erased without repayment, as this does not align with biblical principles of integrity and responsibility. The Lord calls us to honor our obligations, even as we trust Him for provision. *"Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law"* (Romans 13:8, WEB). While we pray for God’s supernatural provision, we must also seek His wisdom in stewarding what He provides, whether through increased income, favor in negotiations, or a clear path to repay what is owed without further harm to your family.
The harassment you face is grievous, and we rebuked the enemy’s tactics of fear and intimidation in Jesus’ name. The Lord sees the oppression of His people, and He commands us not to fear, for *"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble"* (Psalm 46:1, WEB). We declare that no weapon formed against you—whether threats, legal actions, or shame—shall prosper, for *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh"* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). The Lord is able to shut the mouths of those who seek to harm you and to grant you favor even with those to whom you owe debt. Trust that He can soften hearts and open doors for fair resolutions.
As for your request for a personal loan, we pray that if it is God’s will, He will provide the means without usury or further bondage. Yet we also encourage you to seek His wisdom in this matter, for *"the rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender"* (Proverbs 22:7, WEB). The Lord may have another path—one that does not involve further debt—but requires faith and obedience. Perhaps He will lead you to a season of simplicity, where you can live within your means while He provides supernaturally. Or He may open opportunities for additional income or unexpected blessings. Whatever the path, we urge you to surrender this entirely to Him, trusting that *"my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19, WEB).
We also address the fear of losing your job due to this situation. The Lord is your Provider, and He holds your future. *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). If the enemy seeks to use this trial to bring further hardship, we declare that God will turn it for your good and His glory. He is able to protect your employment and even use this season to position you for greater blessing.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister before You, acknowledging that You are the God who sees their affliction and hears their cry. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their financial struggles. You know the weight of the debt they carry and the harassment they endure—bring an end to the shame and fear, and silence the voices of those who seek to oppress them. Father, we ask that You would provide supernaturally, whether through favor in repayment plans, increased income, or unexpected blessings, so that every debt may be honored without further bondage. Give them wisdom to steward what You provide and to walk in integrity, trusting You as their Provider.
We rebuked every scheme of the enemy to bring fear, confusion, or harm through this situation. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. Protect their job, Lord, and let no man or institution have power to destroy what You have ordained for their good. If a loan is not Your will, close that door and open another—one that leads to true freedom and not further bondage.
Father, we declare Your peace over their home and family. Let no collector or creditor cross the threshold of their dwelling to bring shame or distress. You are their Shield and their Exceeding Great Reward. We ask that You would grant them favor with those they owe, that hearts would be softened, and that fair agreements would be reached. Let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness, that others may see and know that You are a God who delivers His children.
Finally, Lord, we pray that through this trial, their faith would be strengthened, and their trust in You would deepen. Remind them that You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and that You will never leave them nor forsake them. May they walk in the confidence that You are working all things together for their good, conforming them to the image of Christ.
We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who bore our burdens on the cross and rose again in victory. To Him be all glory, honor, and power, forever and ever. Amen.
Stand firm in faith, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will not fail you. Trust in Him with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Keep seeking Him, and He will lead you to the place of breakthrough. Do not be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God, and *"the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). We are standing with you in prayer.
