Blessings to overcome Financial debt

Roshan Dsouza

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your forgiveness of all my sins and blessings. I am burdened with a debt and I am being harassed by calls and visits from the banks, which has brought shame to my family. Lord, I ask for your divine intervention and a miracle, so that debt collections agencies close my accounts completely and I will no longer need to make payments, as I have already paid them more than I borrowed. I am also receiving threats from the banks, warning of legal actions and that they will contact my friends and family to harass them. Additionally, I owe money with interest. My desire is to repay everyone. If these people continue to harass me or my contacts, it could jeopardize my new job and leave me unemployed again. Lord I ask for your intervention to stop harassment and repeated calls from every debt collection agency and individual to whom I have to repay to me, my family and friends, as their presence disrupts our peace. Jesus, please help that no one visit my home to whom I have to pay else that will create a huge problem. Please hear my prayer and grant me peace and resolution. Lord, I ask for your miracle and intervention by granting me a personal loan and I get the same without any hassle as it will help me to pay off all my debts. I ask this in Jesus name. Praise the Lord. Amen.

We join with you in lifting this heavy burden before the Lord, knowing that He is a God of justice, mercy, and provision. Your heart’s desire to repay what is owed is honorable, and we commend you for seeking God’s will in this trial. The harassment you face is unjust, and the shame it brings weighs heavily, but we must remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). The Lord sees your distress, and He promises to be your refuge and strength in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).

First, let us address the matter of your prayer for the debts to be miraculously erased without repayment. While God is able to do all things, we must be careful to align our prayers with His Word, which teaches us to honor our obligations. The Bible is clear: *"Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law"* (Romans 13:8). *"The wicked borrows, and doesn’t pay back, but the righteous give generously"* (Psalm 37:21). It is not wrong to ask God for relief, but we must also seek His wisdom in fulfilling our responsibilities. If the debt collectors have acted unjustly—charging excessive interest or harassing you beyond what is lawful—we can pray for God to expose their wrongdoing and bring justice. However, if the debt is legitimate, we must trust God to provide a way for you to repay it in His timing, not merely ask for it to vanish.

The threats against you and your family are deeply troubling, and we rebuke the spirit of fear and oppression in Jesus’ name. The Lord commands us not to fear, for He is with us (Isaiah 41:10). We pray that God would place a hedge of protection around you, your home, and your loved ones, silencing the voices of those who seek to harm or shame you. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,"* says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that these threats will not prosper, and that God will turn what the enemy meant for evil into good (Genesis 50:20).

Regarding your request for a personal loan, we pray that God would open doors of favor if this is His will. However, we must also caution against falling into the same cycle of debt. Proverbs 22:7 warns, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* If God provides a loan, we pray He would also grant you wisdom to manage it responsibly, ensuring that this solution does not become another snare. Seek His guidance in stewardship, and consider whether there are areas where you can reduce expenses or increase income through honest labor. *"Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, producing with his hands something that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need"* (Ephesians 4:28).

We also encourage you to examine whether there are biblical principles you can apply to break free from this cycle. Have you sought counsel from wise believers or financial advisors who can help you create a plan? *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established"* (Proverbs 15:22). Sometimes, God’s provision comes through the practical steps we take in faith, combined with His supernatural intervention.

Lastly, we notice that while you invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, there is a sense of urgency that borders on demanding a specific outcome. Let us remember that our prayers are not incantations to manipulate God but conversations with our Father, who knows what is best for us. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7). Trust that His timing and His ways are perfect, even when they differ from our own.

**Our Prayer for You:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child, who is burdened by debt and the oppression of those who seek to exploit their struggle. Lord, You are a God of justice, and we ask that You would expose any unrighteousness in the actions of these debt collectors. If they have acted unjustly—charging excessive interest, harassing without cause, or threatening unlawfully—we pray that You would bring conviction upon them and cause their schemes to fail. Let every tongue that rises against Your servant be condemned, and let no weapon formed against them prosper.

Yet, Father, we also ask for wisdom and humility. If there are debts that are rightfully owed, we pray that You would provide a way for repayment in a manner that brings glory to Your name. Open doors of favor for honest work, unexpected provision, or godly counsel that would help them steward their resources wisely. Break the cycle of debt in their life, Lord, and teach them to trust in You as their Provider, not in the uncertain riches of this world.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and shame that has sought to overwhelm them. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Restore their peace, Father, and let them sleep without torment. Protect their home from unwelcome visitors, and let no harm come to their reputation or their employment. Surround them with Your favor as with a shield.

If it is Your will to provide a loan, let it come without usury or hidden snares, and grant them the discipline to use it wisely. But more than that, Lord, we ask that You would lead them into financial freedom, teaching them to live within their means and to store up treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy.

We thank You, Father, that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and let it draw them closer to You. May they find their security not in the absence of debt, but in Your unfailing love.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

I'm right there with you, friend. It's heavy, the weight of debt and the harassment that comes with it. But remember, we serve a God who sees, who cares, and who is more than able to carry our burdens.

I want to encourage you with this: God is not surprised by your situation. He knows every call, every letter, every threat. He sees the shame you feel, the fear that grips you. But He also sees your heart's desire to repay, your longing for peace and resolution. He sees it all, and He's right there with you.

Let's pray for divine intervention, yes, but let's also pray for wisdom. Wisdom to navigate this storm, to manage what you have, and to make wise decisions moving forward. Let's ask God to open doors for honest work, for unexpected provision, and for godly counsel.

And let's trust. Trust that God is working all things together for your good and His glory. Trust that He has a purpose in this trial, and that He will bring you out stronger and wiser.

We're praying for you, brother/sister. We're standing with you, believing with you, and trusting with you. Let's keep lifting this up to our Father together. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
