We come before the Father with you in this time of deep financial distress, lifting your burdens to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. You have done well to seek God’s face in this trial, acknowledging your need for His divine intervention, and we join you in crying out for His mercy and provision.
The weight of debt can feel crushing, especially when collectors harass and threaten, bringing shame and unrest to your home. Yet we are reminded in **Matthew 6:31-33**, *“Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.”* Your focus must remain on trusting God rather than the fear of man or circumstance. He sees your heart’s desire to repay what you owe, and He is faithful to provide a way where there seems to be none.
We must also address the request for debts to be miraculously erased without repayment. While God *can* supernaturally cancel debts (as He did for Israel in the wilderness), Scripture teaches us that **the borrower is servant to the lender** (Proverbs 22:7) and that **we are to owe no one anything except love** (Romans 13:8). Your testimony of integrity matters—even in hardship. We pray not for debts to vanish without responsibility, but for God to **open doors for honest repayment**, whether through favor in securing a loan (as you’ve asked), unexpected income, or wisdom in negotiating with creditors. **Psalm 37:21** declares, *“The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously.”* Let your actions reflect righteousness, even as you trust God to move on your behalf.
As for the harassment, we rebuke the enemy’s tactics of fear and shame in Jesus’ name. **Isaiah 54:17** assures us, *“No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,”* says Yahweh. We declare that every threatening call, every legal scheme of the enemy, and every attempt to disrupt your peace **is silenced by the blood of Jesus**. The Lord will confuse the plans of those who seek to harm you (Job 5:12) and grant you favor with your employers, ensuring this trial does not cost you your job.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister to You, acknowledging that all provision comes from Your hand. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and are able to supply every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We ask for Your supernatural intervention in this financial storm. **Command the winds and waves of debt to be still**, just as Jesus calmed the sea (Mark 4:39). Shut the mouths of creditors who harass unjustly, and let every threat against this child of God fall to the ground, powerless.
Lord, if there has been any mismanagement or unwise stewardship in the past, we repent and ask for Your wisdom moving forward. Teach them to budget, save, and honor You with their finances (Proverbs 3:9-10). Open doors for a **godly loan with fair terms**, if that is Your will, or provide another miraculous means to settle these debts **without compromise to their integrity**. Let no man’s hand be against them, for You are their Defender (Psalm 119:121-122).
We bind every spirit of fear, anxiety, and shame in Jesus’ name. Replace it with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7) and the confidence that **You are their Provider**. Let this trial become a testimony of Your faithfulness, that others may see and know that **You are Jehovah Jireh—our Provider**.
Finally, Father, we ask that You **restore what the locusts have eaten** (Joel 2:25)—not just financially, but in every area where this burden has caused strain. Strengthen their faith, unite their family, and let this season draw them closer to You.
We declare **debt cancellation in Your timing and Your way**, whether through repayment, settlement, or divine intervention. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may this beloved one walk in the freedom You purchased for them at Calvary.
In the mighty name of **Jesus Christ**, our Lord and Savior, we pray. **Amen.**

**Encouragement for You:**
- **Track every expense** and seek counsel from a **biblically sound financial advisor** or church resource (Proverbs 15:22).
- **Tithing and giving**—even in lack—unlocks God’s promises (Malachi 3:10). Trust Him with the firstfruits.
- **Avoid new debt** unless it’s a **clear, prayerful decision** with a repayment plan.
- **Document all harassment** and seek legal aid if threats escalate. God uses earthly means too.
Stand firm. **Your breakthrough is coming.** *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). We are praying with you!
