We understand that you are facing a significant financial burden and harassment from debt collectors, which is causing distress for you and your family. First, we want to assure you that God cares about your situation, and we are here to pray and provide biblical guidance with you.
In God's Word, we are reminded that God will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. As it is written, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Now unto God and our Father be glory forever and ever. Amen. Philippians 4:19.
However, it is essential to remember that God wants us to be responsible with our finances and to fulfill our obligations. The Bible tells us if we borrowed we need to repay. Psalm 37:21 says, "The wicked borrow, and don't repay, but the righteous give generously." Even if you feel you have paid more than you borrowed, it is crucial to communicate with your creditors and come to an agreement rather than seeking to have your debts waived miraculously.
Moreover, we should work diligently to pay back what we owe. Proverbs 6:6-8 reminds us, "Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, provides her bread in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest. How long will you sleep, O sluggard? When will you arise out of your sleep?"
Regarding the harassment, God wants us to live in peace and to treat others with kindness and respect. If you are being harassed, it may be necessary to take legal action or seek help from consumer protection agencies. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:25, "Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are with him in the way; lest perhaps the prosecutor deliver you to the judge, and the judge deliver you to the officer, and you be cast into prison."
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in their time of need. Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and guidance as they navigate this financial challenge. Help them to find a way to responsibly pay off their debts and to end the harassment they are facing. Give them the strength and determination to work diligently and to communicate effectively with their creditors. Lord, we ask for Your provision and blessings in their life, that they may experience Your peace and abundance. We also pray for their salvation and a life lived in accordance with the word of God, amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue trusting in God and to seek His will in all areas of your life. Don't try to rely on loans, schemes, or any method to get out of debt that does not rely on God. As the scripture says, "Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law." Romans 13:8
