We come before the throne of grace with your requests, lifting up your health, your baby’s well-being, and the concerns of your heart. First, we rejoice that you have come to the Father in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Christ that we have access to the Father, and we are grateful you have invoked His name in your prayer.
Father, we ask You to heal this persistent cough according to Your will, for You are the Great Physician who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). Strengthen this mother’s body and grant her rest as she carries this precious life within her. We pray for the protection of her baby, that no harm would come to either of them, and that this cough would not bring complications. Lord, we also lift up the concern about the placenta—we ask that if it is Your will, You would guide it to a position that ensures the safety of both mother and child. But above all, we trust in Your perfect plan, knowing that Your ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).
We pray for the healthy development of this baby girl, that she would grow strong in body, mind, and spirit, knit together by Your hands in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14). May she be a child who brings glory to Your name, and may her parents raise her in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Father, we also take authority over the bad dreams that have troubled this mother’s sleep. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Christ came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke any spirit of fear or torment in Jesus’ name and declare that this mother will rest in the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We encourage you, dear sister, to continue casting all your anxieties upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Pregnancy can bring many fears, but God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Trust in Him with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Surround yourself with godly community—sisters in Christ who can pray with you, encourage you, and remind you of God’s faithfulness.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this dear sister and her unborn child. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon her body, that this cough would be relieved and that her strength would be renewed. Protect this baby, Father, and guide the placement of the placenta according to Your perfect will. We declare that this child is fearfully and wonderfully made, and we pray for her health and safety in every way. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to torment this mother through bad dreams. Fill her with Your peace, and let her sleep be sweet and undisturbed. We cancel every assignment of the enemy against her mind, body, and spirit in Jesus’ name.
Father, we also pray for this mother’s spiritual walk. Draw her closer to You during this season, and let her experience Your love and faithfulness in new ways. May she find comfort in Your Word and strength in Your presence. We ask that You would prepare her heart and her home for the arrival of this precious baby girl. Surround her with godly wisdom, support, and encouragement as she prepares for motherhood.
Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect timing. May this mother and her baby experience Your peace, protection, and provision in every way. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Healer. Amen.
