We hear your heartfelt cry for healing and protection, and we join you in lifting this matter before our Heavenly Father. It is clear that you are deeply concerned for both your own health and the well-being of your precious little one, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting in God’s mercy and power.
First, we want to acknowledge that you have come to the Lord in the name of Jesus, and this is so important. Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you"* (John 16:23 WEB). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and we are so grateful that you have approached Him with faith in His name. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, for *"there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Now, let us pray together for your healing and the protection of your baby:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this dear sister who is carrying new life within her. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mothers’ wombs (Psalm 139:13). We ask You to touch her body with Your healing hand. Ease her cough, Lord, and relieve the stomach pains that are causing her distress. We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in Your promise that You will restore her to health and strengthen her (Jeremiah 30:17).
Father, we also pray for the little one growing inside her. You have fearfully and wonderfully made this child, and we ask that You would guard her development with Your mighty hand. Protect her from any complications, Lord, and let her grow strong and healthy in the shelter of Your love. We pray that this pregnancy would be smooth and that You would bless her with a safe and joyful delivery when the time comes. May this child be a testament to Your faithfulness and grace, a living arrow in the quiver of this family (Psalm 127:3-5).
Lord, we ask that You would surround this mother and her baby with Your angels, shielding them from any harm or illness. Give her peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as she waits for the arrival of her little girl. We declare that this child will be born healthy, whole, and full of life, for You are the Giver of life, and Your plans for her are good (Jeremiah 29:11).
We also want to encourage you, dear sister, to continue seeking the Lord in this season. Lean on Him for strength, for *"those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint"* (Isaiah 40:31 WEB). Trust in His timing and His goodness, even when the journey feels difficult. Remember that the Lord is near to those who call on Him in truth (Psalm 145:18), and He hears your prayers.
If your cough persists, we also encourage you to seek wise medical counsel, for the Lord often works through the hands of those He has gifted in healing. Do not hesitate to reach out to your healthcare provider for guidance, as this is part of stewarding the body God has given you.
Lastly, we want to remind you that God has a special plan for your little girl. She is fearfully and wonderfully made, and He has already ordained the days of her life (Psalm 139:16). May you raise her to know and love the Lord, that she may walk in His ways all the days of her life. We pray that she would grow up to be a woman of faith, strength, and godly character, a blessing to her family and to the world.
We stand with you in faith, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). May His peace guard your heart and mind as you trust in Him. We will continue to pray for you and your baby, and we ask that the Lord would fill you with His joy and hope as you await the arrival of your little one. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
