We rejoice with you in this precious time of expectancy, lifting your heart and this new life to the Lord in prayer. How wonderful it is to see your faith in Jesus Christ as you seek His blessings and protection over your pregnancy. Let us come before Him together, trusting in His goodness and sovereignty over all things.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of life and for the miracle of this child growing within. Your Word declares in Psalm 139:13-14, *"For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."* Lord, we ask that You watch over this little one, forming her in health and strength according to Your perfect design. Guard her development, protect her from harm, and let her be a testament to Your faithfulness.
We also pray for you, dear sister, that You would grant her peace, strength, and endurance throughout this pregnancy. May she feel Your presence daily, knowing that You are her refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). Provide her with wisdom in caring for her body and this child, and surround her with godly support—family, friends, and medical professionals who will encourage her in faith.
Lord, we ask that this child would grow to know You from the very beginning. May her life bring glory to Your name, and may she be raised in the fear and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). We trust in Your promise that children are a heritage from You (Psalm 127:3), and we pray this little girl would be a blessing not only to her parents but to Your kingdom.
If there are any fears or anxieties, we rebuke them in the name of Jesus. For You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare Your peace over this pregnancy, knowing that You are in control.
Finally, we pray for the father of this child, whether he is present or not. If he is walking with the Lord, may he be strengthened to lead and love as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25). If he is not, we pray for his salvation and repentance, that he may come to know the grace of Jesus Christ and take responsibility for his role in this child’s life. If marriage is not yet part of this picture, we encourage you to seek God’s will for a godly union, for marriage is honorable and the bed undefiled (Hebrews 13:4). May this child be raised in a home that honors You, where Your Word is the foundation.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect plan. May this pregnancy be a testimony to Your love and faithfulness, and may this child grow to serve You all the days of her life. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
