We rejoice with you in this precious time of expectancy and lift your heart to the Lord with gratitude for the gift of life growing within you. The Bible tells us in Psalm 139:13-14, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." What a beautiful reminder that every child is fearfully and wonderfully made by the Creator’s own hands.
We stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to surround you with His peace, strength, and protection throughout this pregnancy. May He guard both you and your little one from every harm and complication, filling your days with His presence and grace. We pray for a smooth and healthy delivery when the time comes, and that your daughter would be a testimony of God’s faithfulness, growing in wisdom, stature, and favor with both God and man, just as Jesus did (Luke 2:52).
Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. We thank You for the miracle of life and for entrusting this precious child to her mother’s care. Lord, we ask that You would bless this pregnancy abundantly, covering both mother and baby with Your hedge of protection. Remove any fear or anxiety, replacing it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen her body, mind, and spirit, and prepare her heart to raise this child in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). May this little girl be a light in this world, bringing glory to Your name all the days of her life.
We also want to gently encourage you to consider the spiritual foundation you are building for your child. Proverbs 22:6 reminds us, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." As you prepare to welcome your daughter into the world, we pray that you would seek the Lord’s guidance in raising her to know and love Him. Surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and encourage you in this journey, and may your home be filled with the truth of God’s Word.
If there are any areas of your life that may not align with God’s design—whether in relationships, habits, or priorities—we encourage you to surrender them to the Lord. His ways are perfect, and His plans for you and your child are for good, not for harm, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Trust in Him with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
May the Lord bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you, and give you peace as you walk this journey of motherhood. We will continue to lift you up in prayer, believing that God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you and your child. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
