We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these earnest requests in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father. First, we must address the foundation of our faith—salvation through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. Without this, our prayers cannot be heard, for "whatever we ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight" (1 John 3:22).
Father God, we lift up this household to You, asking for Your abundant blessings upon their home. Lord, we pray for the financial provision concerning the house and its renters. You have promised in Your Word, "My God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We ask that You touch the hearts of the renters, that they may pay their rent faithfully and on time. We also pray for the restoration of the lost key and comb, trusting in Your promise that "the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost" (Luke 19:10). Bring these items back into their possession, Lord, according to Your will.
We stand firm against any form of witchcraft, spells, or incantations that may be directed toward this family. The Bible is clear: "There shall not be found with you anyone who... practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). We rebuke every evil influence in the name of Jesus and declare that no weapon formed against this household shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for Your hedge of protection around their belongings, that nothing shall be stolen, and if anything has been taken, we call it back in Jesus' name. You are the God who restores what the locust has eaten (Joel 2:25), and we trust in Your power to replace what has been lost.
Lord, we lift up the deep struggle with depression and illness affecting both of them. We know that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask for Your healing touch, both physically and emotionally. Remind them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill their hearts with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
Father, we bring the children before You, especially ###. We pray for a transformation in their behavior, that they may honor their parents and contribute to the household as Scripture commands (Ephesians 6:1-3). We ask that You soften ###’s heart, that he may listen to wise counsel and prioritize his schoolwork. Lord, we rebuke the influence of marijuana and the bad company he keeps. Your Word warns, "Do not be deceived: 'Evil companionships corrupt good morals'" (1 Corinthians 15:33). We pray that You remove these negative influences from his life and replace them with godly friends who will encourage him in Your ways. Break the chains of addiction, Lord, and set him free by the power of Your Spirit. Draw him back to You, that he may serve You with his whole heart, for You have said, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land" (2 Chronicles 7:14).
We declare over ### that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that You have a plan for his life—a plan to prosper him and not to harm him, to give him hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray that he would come to know You intimately, that he would walk in the light of Your truth, and that he would be a vessel for Your glory.
Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your perfect timing. Strengthen this family, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in every area of their lives. May they grow in faith, in love, and in obedience to Your Word. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for moving mightily on their behalf. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
