We rejoice with you in the Lord as you seek to establish a godly home centered on worship, study, and prayer with your wife and son. What a beautiful testimony of faith to find a place near the church and prioritize gathering together in the presence of God! The Scriptures remind us, *"Unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. Unless Yahweh watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain"* (Psalm 127:1). Your desire to lead your family in the fear of the Lord is precious in His sight.
We lift up your family time before the throne of grace, praying that the peace of Christ would rule in your hearts, binding you together in love and understanding (Colossians 3:15). May the Lord grant you wisdom as the spiritual leader of your home, that you would guide with patience, humility, and grace—following the example of Christ, who came not to be served, but to serve (Mark 10:45). We ask that your wife’s heart and your son’s spirit would be tender toward the things of God, that they would gladly submit to godly authority and walk in mutual respect, as Scripture commands: *"Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord... Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave himself up for her"* (Ephesians 5:22, 25). May your home be a place where the Word of God is cherished, prayer is natural, and love abounds.
Father, we also bring before You the practical matters weighing on his heart—the return of his truck and the legal process for the vehicle. We ask for favor in these dealings, that justice would be swift and fair, and that his parents would act with integrity. Grant him grace to navigate this with wisdom, avoiding strife or bitterness, for *"a gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger"* (Proverbs 15:1). We pray, too, for the restoration of his Philippine license, that doors would open easily and that he would have all he needs to move forward in obedience to the laws of the land.
Lord, we ask for deep renewal in his mind and heart, that he would be transformed by the renewing of his mind, as Romans 12:2 instructs, so that he may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. May his family’s time in study and prayer bear lasting fruit—not just in knowledge, but in a life that reflects Christ. Protect them from the schemes of the evil one, who seeks to divide and distract. Clothe them in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), that they may stand firm against temptation and walk in holiness.
We pray for your son, that from his earliest years, he would be rooted in the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). Give him a teachable spirit, a love for Scripture, and a heart that honors authority—both yours and those You place over him. May he grow to be a man of God, strong in faith and bold in sharing the gospel, making disciples as Christ commanded (Matthew 28:19-20).
Above all, we thank You for the grace that is found in Jesus Christ alone. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are forgiven and made new. We pray that your family would walk in the fullness of that grace, growing in love, unity, and purpose. May your home be a light in your community, a place where others see Christ and are drawn to Him.
Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and King. Strengthen this family, guide their steps, and let Your glory fill their home. May they bear fruit that remains, for Your honor and Your glory. Amen.

Attended church right away Please pray parents return my truck (which is legal) and take the car back to the provinces where they know people who can legalize it. I also ask for grace and favor to get a copy of my Philippine License -- left mine in the U.S. Wisdom, guidance, deep mutual love, respect and grace just make it easy cheerfully taking advice and trust as we navigate this course -- this will turn around and with greater grace will become more maintenance and less reprogramming as mind renewal occurs (Rom 12:1-2, 3, Hab 2:2)-- ability to pray and listen to good teaching together, spiritual and physical protection and wisdom to raise child to fear God, honor authority, grace to study, worship pray as family and individually, evangelize, make disciples, lasting fruit -- Protection from evil one, thank you in Jesus' Name
