We come before the Lord with gratitude for the opportunity He has given you to share His word as a guest speaker. The nervousness and concern about your voice is understandable, but we know that God is our strength and our song, and He will be with you in every moment. The Bible tells us in Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Let this truth sink deep into your heart.
We also lift up your voice to the Lord, asking Him to calm any anxiety and to strengthen your vocal cords. In Psalm 19:14, we read, "Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, Yahweh, my rock, and my redeemer." We pray that your words would flow freely and clearly, bringing glory to God and edification to those who hear you.
Father God, we ask You to go before our brother/sister in this speaking engagement. Fill the room with Your holy presence, so that all who attend would sense Your nearness and be drawn closer to You. Calm every fear and still every anxious thought, replacing them with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen his/her voice, Lord, and let it be a vessel for Your truth. May Your Spirit move powerfully, touching hearts and transforming lives. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Remember, dear one, that it is not by your own strength or eloquence that lives will be changed, but by the power of the Holy Spirit working through you. Rest in the assurance that God has called you for this moment, and He will equip you with everything you need. Step forward in faith, trusting that He who began a good work in you will carry it to completion (Philippians 1:6). May the Lord bless you abundantly as you serve Him.
