Let us come before the Lord with faith in the name of Jesus Christ, as we are told, “Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need” Hebrews 4:16 WEB.
Beloved, we are grateful for your concern and intercession on behalf of your friend. It is encouraging to see the body of Christ caring for one another. Firstly, it is important to acknowledge that all good things come from God, and we can approach Him confidently with our requests. However, it is essential to ask in the name of Jesus Christ, as He Himself taught, “Most certainly, I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full” John 16:23-24 WEB.
Let us pray together for your friend.
“Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister in need of Your guidance, protection, and blessings. We pray that You will provide for her financial needs as she pursues her education. Lord, You know the increasing cost of tuition, and we ask that You make a way for her to continue her studies. We claim Your promise in Philippians 4:19 WEB, ‘My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.’ We ask that the scholarships she has applied for will be granted to her, and that Your favor will surround her in all her endeavors.
We also bring before You her anxiety and sleep difficulties. We know that You are the God of peace, and we claim Your promise in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, ‘In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.’ We rebuke the spirit of anxiety in her life and declare Your peace over her.
Father, we also pray for her protection from satanic attacks. We know that Your Word tells us, ‘Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour’ 1 Peter 5:8 WEB. We stand against any evil forces coming against her, and we declare Your protection over her life. We pray that any generational curses or influences from her grandparents’ involvement in the occult will be broken in the name of Jesus Christ.
Finally, Father, we pray that she will draw near to You during this time and experience Your love and comfort. We ask that You will surround her with Your presence and guide her in Your will for her life. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.”
Beloved, continue to encourage your friend with God’s promises and remind her to trust in Him. As it is written, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding” Proverbs 3:5 WEB.
