Blessing And Favor

Loving Father, Generous God - my simple prayer this day is that Your blessing and favor would be over all during this Christmas season. Protect our lives and our homes from negative influence, distress and worry. Bring about a season of abundant provision, gentle blessings and pure focus on the reason for this season - Your Son, Jesus Christ. Let our hearts be joyful and thankful for all that His birth...life...and death meant for us. We stand before Your throne, sinful people, made clean only by the sacrifice of the One You loved so dearly. Please watch over each person who has accepted Jesus as their Savior, protect our thoughts, actions and words, protect our homes, businesses and places of worship. We invite Your blessings during this very special time. Let the material, commercial emphasis on Christmas fade away and keep our hearts and minds on the real reason we celebrate. It is in His name I pray, and by His grace I am saved. Amen.
