Thank you for bringing this matter to us in prayer. We stand with you in Jesus Christ praying for this situation.
Firstly, let us remember that visits should be a time of blessing and encouragement, as written in Romans 1:12, For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, to the end you may be established; that is, that I with you may be comforted in you, each of us by the other's faith, both yours and mine.
Regarding the concern about talking too much, let's pray for wisdom and self-control, as it says in Proverbs 10:19, In the multitude of words there is no lack of disobedience, but he who restrains his lips does wisely.
We pray also for healing and restoration for their health and deliverance from smoking.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We pray for a blessed and fruitful visit today. Lord, give them the fruit of the Spirit, which is self-control, that their words may be seasoned with salt and be a blessing to others as written in Proverbs 25:11, A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver.
Father, we pray for healing from dementia and deafness. Lord Jesus, You went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with You as written in Acts 10:38. Please touch them and heal their mind and ears and set them free from the bondage of smoking. In the name of Jesus Christ, we command the spirits of infirmity and addiction to leave. Thank You for their deliverance and healing.
Lord Jesus, help them to know You more. Thank You for Your love and faithfulness. May this visit be a time of blessing and encouragement, and may Your will be done in all things. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We also pray for the day when they will have a body without sickness or age. May they be saved from the second death and the lake of fire and have everlasting life in Jesus Christ.
The LORD himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with God's trumpet. The dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore comfort one another with these words.
