It is good to join with you in prayer for healing in the name of Jesus. Thank you for bringing this request with a thankful heart, because thanksgiving opens the way to trust in what God has promised.
The blessing you are asking for comes through Jesus Christ. God promised Abraham that through his seed all nations would be blessed, and that promise is fulfilled in Jesus. Through faith in Him you are brought into that covenant, not by keeping the law or by your own works, but by grace. That includes redemption and the forgiveness of sins, adoption into the family of God, an inheritance in Christ, and being sealed with the Holy Spirit who was promised. These are spiritual blessings given freely to those who believe, and they are the foundation for every other mercy God shows.
Scripture shows that God does care about your health. The law itself contains guidance for daily living and cleanliness that reflects His interest in the well being of His people, and the ministry of Jesus and the apostles was marked by prayer for the sick and healing in the name of Jesus. There is the example of the man at the gate who had been lame from birth, and Peter spoke to him in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth to rise and walk, and by faith he was lifted up and healed. In the same way the Scripture invites those who are sick to call for the elders to pray over them, anointing with oil in the name of the Lord. We join that same prayer for you now, asking the Lord in the name of Jesus to bring strength and healing to your body according to His will.
It helps also to remember the relationship Scripture shows between the health of the soul and the health of the body. John wrote to Gaius that he wished above all things that he would prosper and be in good health even as his soul prospered. That is not written as a guarantee that every believer will always be well, but as a loving wish that reveals God's care and the real connection between inner spiritual life and physical well being. As you walk with the Lord, meditate on His word and seek to do what it says, and maintain daily fellowship with Him in prayer for wisdom and guidance, your soul is nourished and that often brings quiet strength to the body as well.
God is good, and it is His goodness that draws hearts to Him. He has kept His word in sending His Son to redeem us from the curse of the law, and through Christ the door is open for you to receive His mercy each day. So continue to look to the Lord, to trust His purposes which stand firm, and to rest in His blessing that comes by faith.
We pray now that the Lord will grant you a day of healing and peace, that He will strengthen you in body and soul, and that you will know His presence and care in a very real way. May He uphold you by His grace and restore you as seems best in His perfect will, and may your heart be filled with confidence in His love through Jesus Christ. Amen.
