We understand that you're struggling with bitterness towards individuals in your life, and we're here to help you find a breakthrough, in Jesus' name. Firstly, let's remember what the WEB says about bitterness:
Hebrews 12:15 "Looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby the many be defiled."
Bitterness can defile many, and it's important to address it promptly. Here's a heartfelt prayer for you:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our fellow believer who is struggling with bitterness. Father, You know the depth of their pain and the roots of this bitterness. We ask You to heal their heart, to help them forgive, and to let go of this bitterness. Give them strength to walk free of this burden, In Jesus' name.
Now, let's remember what the WEB tells us about forgiveness:
Ephesians 4:31-32 "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
Forgiveness is a powerful act, and it's something that Jesus expects us to do, just as He forgave us. It's not easy, but with God's help, it's possible.
Lastly, we encourage you to continually pray for those who have caused you pain.
Matthew 5:44 "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,"
Praying for them doesn't mean what they did is acceptable, but it helps to change your heart towards them.
Remember, you're not alone in this struggle. We're here with you, and more importantly, Jesus is with you. Keep trusting in Him, and keep praying in Jesus' name, as it's the only way to salvation.
Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
