Birthday prayer for son

Heavenly Father,

I want to thank you for the life of my son Steven on his birthday.

Please bless him and keep him all of his days. My prayer for his birthday is that he would follow you, thirst after Your word, long for Your presence, tell of Your good works, and be Your servant all the days of his life.

I ask for protection from the enemy and anyone with ungodly influences; that Steven would have good judgment and a desire to do Your will. Please place Steven in the palm of Your hand, under Your watchful eye. Draw him to seek Your direction and guidance in all that he does. Lord, I boldly ask for a spiritual, mental, physical, emotional and financial blessing over Steven's life. Anoint him with your Spirit of mercy and compassion, in the name of Jesus, the Christ. Amen.
