We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is facing a biopsy. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds (Psalm 103:2-3). We ask in the mighty name of Jesus that the results of this biopsy would come back negative, declaring no trace of illness or disease in this precious body You created. Lord, we also pray for complete healing from any trauma caused by this procedure, that every cell, tissue, and organ would be restored to full health according to Your perfect will.
Heavenly Father, we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on this promise for our brother or sister in Christ. We rebuke fear, anxiety, and any spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that even in uncertainty, You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we ask that You would surround this dear one with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Strengthen their faith, remind them of Your promises, and fill them with hope as they wait on You. May they feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with them every step of this journey.
We also lift up those who are supporting and caring for them during this time. Give wisdom to the medical professionals involved, that they would be guided by Your hand in every decision. Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your unfailing love. We trust in You, our Healer and Redeemer, and we ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
If this dear one has not yet placed their trust in Jesus Christ, we gently encourage them to consider the gift of salvation. The Bible tells us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and the hope of healing, both physically and spiritually. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we pray that today would be the day you invite Jesus into your heart as your Lord and Savior. Confess your sins, repent, and believe in Him, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). He is waiting with open arms to welcome you into His family.
