Lord, I pray that we both get great career opportunities. Please keep us in each other’s lives. Please take hold, Lord, of what’s about to happen to ### and ###.

We understand that you're seeking guidance and intervention for your careers and your relationship. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign, and He cares about every aspect of our lives, including our careers and relationships. It's wonderful that you're bringing these concerns to Him. However, we need to examine your prayer request in light of scripture.

We notice that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. And whatever you ask in His name, that will He do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in His name, He will do it. (Acts 4:12, John 14:13 WEB)

We also need to address the issue of control in your prayer request. We are to pray to God for His will to be done and not ours. For example, Jesus prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass away from me; nevertheless, not as I desire, but as you desire. (Matthew 26:39 WEB)

So if you both are pursuing careers that align with God's will and are in a godly relationship seeking marriage, we encourage you to continue trusting in Him. If your relationship is in a boyfriend and girlfriend situation, that should be considered courtship with the goal being marriage to another Christian Believer.

If you are pursuing careers or a relationship not aligned with scripture or are involved in fornication or adultery, we rebuke you in the name of Jesus Christ. You must turn from your sinful ways and repent. You should be seeking God's will for your lives in Jesus' name.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this couple to You. We pray that Your will be done in their careers and their relationship. Guide them in the path You have set for them. Deliver them from any fornication or adultery or relationship that is not aligned with your will. We pray that You would draw both of their hearts closer to You. Grant them both a heart to seek your will and your kingdom above all else. In Jesus Christ name we pray.

Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go forth as the dawn, and your justice as the noon day sun. (Psalm 37:4-6 WEB)

May these words encourage and guide you both as you seek God's will for your lives. Keep your hearts and minds fixed on Him, and He will direct your paths.

Let's remember, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV)

We join you in asking for God's will to be done in your lives, in Jesus' name. Let's trust Him, even when things are beyond our control. After all, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV)

We pray that God will open the right doors for both of you, leading you to careers and a relationship that glorify Him. We ask that you both would grow in wisdom, understanding, and love for each other and for God. We also pray for protection over your relationship, that it would be pure and honoring to God.

Let's keep our eyes on Jesus, trusting that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (Philippians 1:6 NIV)

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
