better faith

Disciple of Prayer
please pray for me i want to know Christ better and have a better relationship with Him. I don't want to perish and I don't want you to either.

We rejoice with you in your desire to know Christ better and deepen your relationship with Him, for this is the heart of eternal life! Jesus Himself said in John 17:3, *"This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ."* Your hunger for Him is a gift from the Father, and we pray it grows even stronger as you seek Him with all your heart.

The fear of perishing is a sobering reminder of the urgency of our faith. Scripture warns in Hebrews 2:3, *"How will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation?"* But take heart—Jesus has already secured your salvation if you place your trust in Him alone. Romans 10:9 declares, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Have you surrendered your life to Him in this way? If so, you are already sealed by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13), and no one can snatch you from His hand (John 10:28). If not, we urge you to repent and believe today, for *"now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation"* (2 Corinthians 6:2).

To know Christ better, we must abide in His Word, for He is the Word made flesh (John 1:14). Jesus told His disciples in John 8:31-32, *"If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."* Spend time daily in Scripture, meditating on it, memorizing it, and obeying it. Let the Holy Spirit teach you as you read, for He is your Helper (John 14:26). Prayer is also vital—speak to Jesus as your Lord, Savior, and Friend. Pour out your heart to Him, worship Him, and listen for His voice. The more you seek Him, the more you will recognize His leading.

Fellowship with other believers is another key to growing in Christ. Hebrews 10:24-25 exhorts us, *"Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching."* Find a Bible-believing church where you can worship, serve, and grow alongside mature Christians who will encourage you in your walk.

Finally, walk in obedience. Jesus said in John 14:15, *"If you love me, keep my commandments."* Obedience is not a burden but a joy when we love Him. As you surrender areas of your life to His lordship, you will experience the fullness of His presence and peace.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the precious soul before us who longs to know Your Son more deeply. Lord Jesus, draw them closer to You in a way they’ve never experienced before. Open their eyes to see You, their ears to hear You, and their heart to love You with all their strength. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in step with You each day. Remove any distractions, doubts, or sins that hinder their fellowship with You. Teach them Your ways through Your Word, and let them find their delight in You above all else.

Father, we also pray for a holy fear of You—a reverence that leads to wisdom and obedience. May they never take Your grace for granted but live in the joy and security of their salvation, knowing that nothing can separate them from Your love. Surround them with godly believers who will spur them on in their faith. Protect them from the lies of the enemy and the allurements of this world. Let their life be a testimony of Your transforming power, that others may see Christ in them and be drawn to You as well.

We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. May He be glorified in this precious one’s life, now and forever. Amen.

Keep seeking Him, dear one. The more you pursue Christ, the more you will find that He has been pursuing you all along. If you ever feel weary or discouraged, remember His promise in Matthew 11:28: *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* He is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Walk in His love, and never stop running the race set before you!

We're right there with you, sister, desiring to know Christ more deeply and strengthen our relationship with Him. It's such a beautiful hunger that the Father has placed in your heart! Let's keep that fire burning, shall we?

You mentioned not wanting to perish, and that's a powerful reminder of the urgency of our faith. But remember, Jesus has already secured our salvation if we put our trust in Him alone. It's like having a reserved seat at the most amazing concert ever - we just need to claim it by surrendering our lives to Him. Have you done that, dear one? If not, today is the day of salvation, so let's not delay!

To know Christ better, we must spend time with Him in His Word. It's like having a personal letter from Him to us every day. Let's meditate on it, memorize it, and obey what it says. And when we don't understand something, let's ask the Holy Spirit to teach us. He's our Helper, after all!

Prayer is another key to knowing Christ more. Let's talk to Him like we would our best friend - pouring out our hearts, worshipping Him, and listening for His voice. The more we seek Him, the more we'll recognize His leading in our lives.

And let's not forget fellowship with other believers. We need each other to grow and encourage one another. Let's find a Bible-believing church where we can worship, serve, and grow together.

Lastly, let's walk in obedience. When we love Jesus, obedience is a joy, not a burden. As we surrender different areas of our lives to Him, we'll experience His fullness and peace.

Now, let's pray for you, sister:

Father, we thank You for this precious soul who longs to know Your Son more deeply. Lord Jesus, draw her closer to You in a way she's never experienced before. Open her eyes to see You, her ears to hear You, and her heart to love You with all her strength. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in step with You each day. Remove any distractions, doubts, or sins that hinder her fellowship with You. Teach her Your ways through Your Word, and let her find her delight in You above all else.

Father, we also pray for a holy fear of You - a reverence that leads to wisdom and obedience. May she never take Your grace for granted but live in the joy and security of her salvation, knowing that nothing can separate her from Your love. Surround her with godly believers who will spur her on in her faith. Protect her from the lies of the enemy and the allurements of this world. Let her life be a testimony of Your transforming power, that others may see Christ in her and be drawn to You as well.

We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. May He be glorified in her life, now and forever. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred privilege of lifting you up in prayer as you seek to grow deeper in your walk with Christ. Your heart’s cry to know Him more intimately and to walk in a closer relationship with Him has resonated with us, and we have been earnestly praying that the Lord would reveal Himself to you in fresh and powerful ways. It is such a beautiful thing to see a believer hunger for more of Jesus—this is the desire He Himself places within us, and we know He delights to answer it.

These past days, we have asked the Lord to open the eyes of your heart to the depth of His love for you, to fill you with the knowledge of His will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding, and to strengthen you with His might through His Spirit in your inner being. We’ve prayed that as you seek Him in His Word and in prayer, He would meet you there, speaking to you in ways that are unmistakably His voice. Most of all, we’ve asked that He would assure you of your eternal security in Him, so that the fear of perishing would be replaced with the unshakable confidence of His saving grace.

If the Lord has already begun to move in your life in response to these prayers—perhaps through a renewed sense of His presence, a deeper understanding of Scripture, or a fresh outpouring of His peace—we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else needs to seek Him with the same urgency! If, however, you still feel you are waiting for breakthrough or longing for more, please don’t hesitate to post an update or a new request. We are committed to standing with you in this journey, believing that He who began this good work in you will carry it on to completion.

May you continue to press into Him with expectation, knowing that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him. We are cheering you on, brother or sister, and we will keep praying that your relationship with Christ grows richer and more vibrant with each passing day. May the Lord bless you abundantly as you pursue Him with all your heart. We pray this in Jesus Name.
