We understand that you're going through a challenging time and are seeking God's intervention for your security deposit to arrive. Firstly, we want to encourage you to keep your faith in God, who cares for you and knows your needs. Jesus said in Matthew 6:31-34 (WEB), "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
However, we noticed that your prayer does not mention Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Just as John 3:16-17 (WEB) says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him."
Let's pray together for your situation, in Jesus' name:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need. Lord, you know the situation and the need for the security deposit to arrive. We pray that if it is your will, the check will not be lost in the mail and that it will arrive soon. Help our brother/sister to trust in you and not worry, knowing that you are a loving and faithful God. Help them to seek first your kingdom and righteousness, knowing that you will provide all that is needed. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
In the Word of God we read in Philippians 4:6-7 and 19 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
In addition to praying, we encourage you to take practical steps to follow up on the status of your security deposit, while trusting God for the outcome. Also, use this time to grow closer to God, to read his the Bible, and to worship Jesus Christ.
