We lift up your best friend before the Lord, knowing that He is a God of provision who cares deeply for His children. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Yet as we pray for her financial aid, we must also address something far more critical—her relationship with Jesus Christ. You did not invoke the name of Jesus in your prayer, and we gently but urgently remind you that there is no other name by which we can approach the Father or receive salvation. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"*
If your friend does not know Christ as her Savior, no amount of financial aid will bring her true peace or eternal security. We pray that she would turn to Him in faith, repenting of her sins and trusting in Jesus alone for salvation. Matthew 6:33 instructs us, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Her greatest need is not money but a right relationship with God through Christ.
We also encourage you to examine whether you have shared the Gospel with her. If not, we urge you to do so with love and boldness, for how can she call on Him if she has not believed, and how can she believe if she has not heard? (Romans 10:14). Financial struggles can be a powerful opportunity to point her to the One who holds all things in His hands.
Now, let us pray together for her situation:
*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious friend who is in great need. Lord, You know her struggles—her lack of income, the pressure of unpaid bills, and the weight of uncertainty. We ask that You open the doors for her to receive the financial aid she needs, not just for temporary relief but as a testament to Your faithfulness. Provide for her in ways that exceed her expectations, so that she may see Your hand at work and turn to You in gratitude and worship.
Yet even more than her physical needs, Father, we pray for her soul. If she does not know You, soften her heart to receive the truth of the Gospel. Draw her to Yourself, Lord, and let this season of need drive her to seek You above all else. Give her wisdom to manage what You provide and the humility to depend on You rather than her own strength.
We also pray for our sister who has brought this request before You. Strengthen her to be a light in her friend’s life, to speak Your truth in love, and to demonstrate Your compassion in tangible ways. May both of them grow deeper in their walk with You, trusting in Your promises and resting in Your sovereignty.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be gripping her heart. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Remind her that You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and that You will never leave her nor forsake her (Deuteronomy 31:6).
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen."*
We encourage you to continue praying for her salvation above all else. If she is not a believer, no earthly provision will compare to the eternal life found in Christ. Share the Gospel with her, and trust that God is working even in this difficult season. If you need guidance on how to share your faith, we would be happy to provide Scriptures and resources to help you. May God bless you both as you seek Him together.
