We understand that you are deeply concerned for your best friend's well-being, and we join you in bringing this matter before the Lord. Firstly, it is important to acknowledge the source of our help and blessings, which is in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." and as it is stated in Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!". So we pray in the name of Jesus Christ.
In times of financial strain, it is essential to remember that God is our provider and that He cares for our needs. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
We pray that your friend will find comfort and provision in God's care. We also encourage her to seek God's will in her life, including her employment situation. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Regarding her upcoming surgery, we pray for healing and peace. As it is written in Jeremiah 30:17 WEB "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, because they have called you an outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeks after." We will pray for her recovery and for God's guidance through this time.
Finally, it is important to remember that our ultimate trust should be in God, not in government programs or any other source of provision. While it is not wrong to seek assistance, our hope should always be in God's provision. As it is written in Psalm 20:7 WEB "Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust in the name of Yahweh our God."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our friend who is in need of Your provision. Lord, we ask that You guide her steps as she seeks employment and financial assistance. We pray that You will provide for her needs according to Your riches in glory. We also ask for Your healing touch upon her as she prepares for surgery. Give her peace and comfort during this time, and let her know that You are always with her. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you both to continue trusting in God's provision and to seek His will in all things. May God bless you so that you can bless others. May you find the help and provision in Jesus Christ's name.
