First, I thank you all for praying w/me over my step mother who was in a coma two weeks ago. She passed away on 12/9. We humbly do accept God's will but still pray for continued strength. This is my fathers 2nd wife he's had to bury, so we ask for prayers over Leroy, that God will give him strength, heal his broken heart and for continued protection and good health. My sister and I have a busy weekend planned already that has been paid for but are in a dilemma about traveling six hours away for the services or staying here and visiting next weekend, so we can get more time w/our father. I personally am not ready for the heavy heart and grief stricken environment around a bereaved family. However, we want to be there to support our father no doubt. The problem is that we are having to rush there early in the morning and then would have to rush back for Sunday's paid for and scheduled event. Help us to make peace with what we should do. Likewise, I ask for prayers over the Collins and Jackson families. I pray that they will be comforted at this time, remembering the love and good heart their mother/grandmother brought to their lives. I also pray that God will grant them traveling grace to and from one state to the other. I also pray that God will bless their finances as they prepare to travel and bury their loved one. Second, I ask for prayer over my health and that I can soon adopt a lifestyle that will assist me in losing weight successfully. I also ask for wisdom over my finances and for an increase in my finances and lastly, guidance and support over my job search efforts. I am getting low on my severance and I don't know if Congress will pull a stop payment on our benefits in the coming new year. So I am needing gainful employment in a job that will bless my life, career and household. Thanks for your prayers.
