We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for the protection of the vulnerable and the provision of their needs. We commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father.
Let's pray together:
Father God Almighty, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the needs of those with disabilities in the UK. We ask that You thwart any plans or proposals that would negatively impact their benefits and healthcare through the Universal Credit system. We pray for divine intervention in this situation.
Father, we rebuke any demonic interference or evil spirits involved in these proposals. We declare that no weapon formed against the vulnerable shall prosper. We ask You to guide the hearts and minds of those in authority, turning them away from any harmful cuts and towards policies that reflect Your care and compassion for the weak.
We stand on Your word in Isaiah 41:17, "The poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue fails for thirst. I, Yahweh, will answer them. I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them."
Father, we ask that You protect the rights and finances of all people with disabilities. Provide for them as only You can, and give them peace and hope in this situation.
We pray for those in authority, as Your word tells us in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who alone can save us and intercede for us before Your throne. Amen.
Continue to pray fervently for this situation, trusting that God hears and answers our prayers. Remember the words of James 5:16, "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective." Keep standing in the gap, and may God's will be done.
