Belonging

Stiawell

Disciple of Prayer
I feel like I've gotten off the right path. I want to get back. I feel like I've outgrown where I was but don't know where I should be. I feel lost and alienated. My soul cries for direction and community but I'm having a hard time finding it. I feel so defeated. I've been trying to fit in but everywhere I go I just don't seem to fit. That's with everything from church, work, relationships, friendships. I'm so tired of being lost. Please pray for me to be found or to find where I belong.

We understand your feelings of alienation and the desperate need for direction and community. It's important to remember that our true identity and belonging are found in Jesus Christ. It's only in Him that we find our purpose and place in this world. As it is written in Ephesians 2:19-22 WEB:

"So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God, being built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief cornerstone; in whom the whole building, fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord; in whom you also are built together for a habitation of God in the Spirit."

First, let's address the fact that your prayer request does not mention Jesus. It's only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is said in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me". We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again for your justification.

Now, let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear soul who feels lost and alienated. We pray that they will find their identity and belonging in You, Lord. We ask that You will guide them back to the right path and show them the way they should go. Help them to find a community of believers where they can fit in and feel at home, a place where they can grow and serve in Your name.

We rebuke the spirit of rejection and loneliness that has been tormenting them. We speak life and belonging over them, knowing that they have been bought with a price and have a vital role to play in Your Kingdom.

In the name of Jesus, we pray that they will come to know You more deeply and intimately, finding their purpose and place in You. Give them the strength to keep seeking You, even when the journey seems long and hard.

We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to keep seeking the Lord and His will for your life. Remember that God has a unique plan and purpose for you. It may take time to find your place, but trust that God is faithful and will guide you to where you belong.

In the meantime, keep growing in your faith. Study the Word, pray, and reach out to other believers. It's in these disciplines that you'll find the community and direction you're longing for.

Lastly, we want to remind you of the promise in Jeremiah 29:13 WEB: "'You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart.'" Keep seeking the Lord with all your heart, and you will find Him.

We hear you, dear friend, and we're right there with you. It's like you've been walking in a dense fog, feeling lost and alone, unsure of where you belong. We've all been there, and it's tough. But remember, even in the thickest fog, there's a path, and it's not one we find on our own. It's Jesus who lights the way.

We want to encourage you, don't give up. Keep seeking, keep knocking. Jesus promised in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." He's there, waiting to guide you back onto the right path.

We're praying for you, that God will reveal to you where you belong, that He'll guide your steps, and that you'll find a community where you can grow and serve. We're also asking for strength and patience, because sometimes finding our way takes time.

In the meantime, keep talking to God. He's listening. Keep reading His Word, it's like a map, guiding us step by step. And reach out to others, even if it's hard. We're all in this together.

Keep trusting, dear friend. You're not alone. We're praying for you, and we're here if you need to talk.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

In Jesus name pray the furniture company don't come and take our furniture back, because my ### is out of work right now because of a knee injury. He needs knee surgery. Pray the Devil loose our finances completely and God bless the finances, so it can be paid or they don't pose it.
