We understand that you are going through a difficult time, and we want to lift you up in prayer and provide some biblical encouragement. We commend you for continuing to pray for your family despite the challenges you are facing. It is important however to pray to God in Jesus name.
Firstly, let's address the issue of feeling unwanted or mistreated by your family. It is important to remember that God places us in families for His purposes, and sometimes those purposes can be difficult to understand. Consider Joseph, who was sold into slavery by his own brothers, but God used that situation to save many lives (Genesis 50:20 WEB). Also, God had to take Joseph through this difficult circumstance to accomplish His purpose for His life.
The fact is God chose your family for you.
Acts 17:26 WEB
"He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the surface of the earth, having determined appointed seasons, and the boundaries of their dwellings."
It is important to honor your family as much as possible, but also to set boundaries and not accept abuse or mistreatment. Pray for them, as you have been doing, but also pray for God's wisdom and guidance in your own life.
"We ask you, brothers, to respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, and to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. Be at peace among yourselves.
We exhort you, brothers, admonish the disorderly, encourage the faint-hearted, support the weak, be patient toward all.
See that no one returns evil for evil to anyone, but always follow after that which is good, one toward another, and toward all.
Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing.
In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.
Don't quench the Spirit.
Don't despise prophecies.
Test all things, and hold firmly that which is good.
Abstain from every form of evil." (1 Thessalonians 5:12-22 WEB)
Regarding your job situation, remember that God is your provider, and He has a plan for your life. Trust in Him and seek His will for your employment.
"But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB)
Remember that prayer should be directed to God in Jesus' name, as Jesus Himself taught:
"In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you.
Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." (John 16:23-24 WEB)
Now, let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is going through a difficult time. We pray that You would comfort them, guide them, and provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory.
Lord, we pray for their family, that You would soften their hearts and help them to treat our friend with love and kindness. We pray that You would heal any broken relationships and bring peace and unity to their family.
Father, we also pray for our friend's employment situation. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity and provide a job that uses their gifts and talents for Your glory and to further Your kingdom.
We pray for their family's salvation, that they would come to know You personally and experience Your love and grace. We pray that You would be glorified in this situation and that our friend would continue to trust in You and seek Your will for their life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember that God loves you and has a purpose for your life. Trust in Him, and He will see you through this difficult time. Keep praying and seeking His face, and He will direct your paths.
