We are truly sorry to hear that you are facing discrimination. We want you to know that God sees your pain and hears your cries. He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Let us remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:10-12 (WEB):
Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.
Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven.
Our heartfelt prayer for you is this:
Dear Lord, you are a God of justice and mercy. You have shown us through your Son, Jesus Christ, that you care for the marginalized and the oppressed. We lift up our fellow believer who is experiencing discrimination. We pray that you would comfort them by the power of your Holy Spirit and give them courage to face this trial. We ask that you would intervene in this situation and bring an end to the discrimination they are facing. Guide them in the path of righteousness, and help them to respond with love and forgiveness, even in the face of injustice.
We also pray for those who are perpetrating the discrimination. We ask that you would soften their hearts and open their eyes to the wrong they are doing. Bring conviction upon their hearts and draw them to yourself, that they may know the truth and be set free from their sin.
In all things, Lord, we ask that you would be glorified. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and to continue to do good to those who persecute you. Remember the words of Romans 12:17-21 (WEB):
- "Therefore do not repay anyone evil for evil.
- "Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Pray for those who are mistreating you, that God would bless them and draw them to himself. Continue to trust in God and to do what is right, knowing that your reward is in heaven.
We also note that you have not mentioned the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name) in your request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. It is by his stripes we are healed. Acts 4:12 (WEB) says 'There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!' This is why we always pray in Jesus' name. We hope this encourages you in the faith.
