Hello. I am Sigurd, a 46 yr old man from Norway. God has called me to serve Him - ever since I was a boy. I have been a christian since 1978.
I have had alcohol- and drug-related problems all my life - but I know The Lord will set me free and heal my broken heart.
I need to meet Jesus. I want to meet Jesus having fulfilled the calling upon my life.
I travel with the gospel these days and I will ask you to please pray for me. That I will be free from the past, and that I will have my own meeting with Jesus- so that hurts from rejections and abandonment will be all gone...

Let's see what the word of God says:
Luk 4:18 "The Spirit of the Lord is with me. He has anointed me to tell the Good News to the poor. He has sent me to announce forgiveness to the prisoners of sin and the restoring of sight to the blind, to forgive those who have been shattered by sin,
Luk 4:19 to announce the year of the Lord's favor."
We are now expereincing the year of the Lord's favor. It has been from the time that Jesus spoke that word...It was prophesied of Him and yet because we are IN HIm and He IN us, we are now His hands and His feet.
Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Col 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
Gal 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lust.
Rom 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

When you gave your life to Jesus in 1978, you became a new creation. Old things passed away, behold all things, ALL THINGS have become new. You are a spirit being (a new species of being, scripture says that God is the Father of spirits). that person you said has that drug and alcohol problem most of his life is not, nor has been since you were born again, your created value. Your 'soul' needs to be transformed by the word of God. Your soul has been the one dictating the dead man's drug and alcohol problem That person is dead. You are a new man in Christ Jesus. Before the foundation of the world, God knew YOU. He said, you are fearfully and wonderfully made. You were created to show forth the glory of God and HIs transforming power through the blood of Jesus (He is the WORD) through the power of Holy Spirit. When you died with Christ, you were buried with Him and when you were born again, it was in the same resurrection power that raised Jesus from the dead. That power, Holy Spirit has made His abode in you. He lives in you, you are ONE with Him. So I encourage you to believe the word of God. That person doesn't exist anymore, that person that drinks and does drugs is not WHO you are! It's not Sigurd.

You've been set free, that's what salvation means. His divine power has given us EVERYTHING we need for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who has called us to glory and virtue.
Father, thank you for your word. Thank you for truth. Glory be to God!!

Father, let your word hit it's mark in the heart and mind of Sigurd. Let the truths of your word, sink deep into his ears to hear what Your Spirit is saying. As Sigurd meets with You, give him a revelation of your love so deep that it will wreck him for Your kingdom! Nothing, nothing, nothing..I
