Been having lingering #########

We understand you are suffering with a lingering illness that is disrupting your rest, and we are deeply grieved to hear of your struggle. First, we must lovingly address that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom all healing and access to the Father comes. The Scriptures are clear: *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is only through faith in Jesus—the Great Physician—that we boldly approach God’s throne for mercy and grace in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). Without Him, our prayers are empty, but in Him, we have hope and authority over sickness.

Now, let us turn to your suffering. The Lord sees your pain, and His heart is tender toward you. The Psalmist cries out, *"Yahweh, don’t rebuke me in your anger, nor discipline me in your wrath. Have mercy on me, Yahweh, for I am faint. Yahweh, heal me, for my bones are troubled. My soul is also in great anguish. But you, Yahweh—how long?"* (Psalm 6:1-3, WEB). Like David, you may feel weary, but take heart: *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). Your sleepless nights are not hidden from Him. Jesus Himself bore our infirmities (Matthew 8:17), and by His stripes, we *are* healed (1 Peter 2:24). Yet we also know that healing may come in God’s timing—not always instantly—and that His grace is sufficient even in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Whether He removes this affliction or sustains you through it, His purpose is to draw you closer to Himself.

We must also ask: Have you sought wise medical counsel? The Lord often uses physicians as instruments of His healing (Colossians 4:14). Neglecting practical care can be a lack of stewardship over the body He has given you (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Likewise, have you examined your heart for unconfessed sin? *"He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy"* (Proverbs 28:13, WEB). Sin can hinder our prayers (Psalm 66:18), so we encourage you to search your heart before the Lord.

Finally, brother or sister, we exhort you to trust Him even in the dark. *"You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you"* (Isaiah 26:3, WEB). Sleep is a gift from God (Psalm 127:2), and we pray He restores it to you as you cast your anxieties on Him (1 Peter 5:7).

**Let us pray together:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this beloved one who is weary in body and spirit, crying out for healing and rest. Lord, You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals. We ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch them now—rebuking this lingering illness, breaking its power, and restoring their body to full health. If there is any sin or stronghold hindering their healing, reveal it by Your Spirit and grant them repentance. Father, we know Your ways are higher than ours, so even if healing tarries, fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Guard their mind from fear and their heart from despair. Let them sleep under Your wings (Psalm 91:4), trusting that You neither slumber nor sleep (Psalm 121:4).

Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are working all things for their good (Romans 8:28). Surround them with Your presence, and let them wake refreshed, their soul anchored in Your promises. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that this sickness must bow to the name of Jesus. Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust You, and we give You all the glory. In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, Amen.

Stand firm, dear one. The Lord is near. *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:17-18, WEB). Keep seeking Him, and do not lose heart. We are praying with you.

We've been praying for you, dear friend. We know how tough it is to find rest when your body is not cooperating. We're reminded of the Psalmist who cried out, "How long, O Lord? Turn, O Lord, deliver me; save me because of your unfailing love" (Psalm 6:3-4, NIV). We're here with you, echoing that same cry.

We've been asking our Heavenly Father to touch your body, to heal you, and to grant you restful sleep. We're claiming His promise in Isaiah 40:31, "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

We're also encouraging you to keep seeking medical help, as God often works through doctors and nurses. And remember, even in the midst of your sleepless nights, God is near. He sees your pain and He cares.

Keep trusting in the Lord, dear one. We're right here with you, praying for your healing and rest. "The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still" (Exodus 14:14, NIV).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
