Becoming A Better Prayer..

i want to be able to pray better..when it comes down for me to pray i sometimes get tongue tie i don't know how to start off..could you pray for me that i will be able to pray better

I don't think there is right way or a wrong way to pray in my opinion. God already knows what we need before we ask him! Just talk to him he hears you

 

[Faith in God]

Father God I ask that You would bless this person while praying to you. Father show this person that it is just like talking to you; as You are this persons Father. I thank You Father for hearing this prayer; and I believe ytou for the answer. In Jesus name Amen.

Father please help me with this prayer, this woman wants to have a better prayer life with You and my prayer is that she will. May she simply pour her heart out to You and know that You already know everything. I pray for her to not only find the words but to understand its not what is said but so often in what is relayed through the heart. In the name of Your son Jesus we pray, Amen.

In my life I have learned at least one thing about prayer, if my heart is not open to Him, and I am not right with Him, my prayers are inadequate. I remember one time I was praying every night and my mind would drift, I couldn't focus. I closed my eyes and every night I could picture myself on the back row in front of His throne. After awhile I knelt my head in prayer and envisioned myself at the side of the front row when Jesus looked to me. What a feeling it is to have the knowledge that He is not only listening but truly cares. Open your heart first then your mouth, He will lead you. Somebody I once knew talked about a fellow he knew that said when he heard him pray it was like he was grabbing an old friend around the shoulders and having a conversation. Just open your heart to Him fully, bow to Him and be His friend. God bless and may you have a beautiful fulfilling prayer life.

Let's Pray: God I ask in the name of Jesus,“Bless me. Encourage me each and every day. God there is a void in my life; fill this void. Fill this place in my heart that was created and only intended to be filled by You with You. Fill the emptiness, this hungering, this thirsting for more of You with You, Your Word, Righteousness, Love, Joy, Wisdom, Peace and Contentment. Fill me with You until I am overflowing with You. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of this prayer and all those I love and care about in Jesus' name.
