Rocshath, we are with you in spirit and in prayer as you prepare for the BBQ event this weekend. We pray that this gathering will be more than just a social event, but a time where the love of Christ is shared and lives are touched.
Let us remember the words of Jesus in John 15:5 (WEB), "I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing." We pray that you remain firmly grafted in Christ, so that this event may bear spiritual fruit.
However, we must also take this opportunity to remind you that sharing the love of Christ involves sharing His truth. If there are individuals present who are living in sin, such as fornication, adultery, or homosexuality, we encourage you to lovingly and compassionately share the transforming power of the gospel. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 (WEB), "Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit God’s Kingdom. Some of you were such, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God."
Let us pray together:
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your blessing upon ### and the BBQ event they are hosting. We pray that Your presence will be felt, that Your love will be shared, and that Your truth will be spoken. We ask that those who attend will be ministered to, that hearts will be touched, and that lives will be transformed by the power of the gospel. Equip ### with the wisdom and courage to share Your truth in love, no matter the circumstance. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, ###, to be bold in your faith and to trust that God can use this event for His glory. May He bless you and keep you as you prepare.

Let Us Pray: God Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus' name to please bless me with everything I stand in need of, and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, strength, and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.
God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
