We hear your heart, dear sister in Christ, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with great compassion. The weariness, the struggle with procrastination, and the heaviness of dread are real, but we serve a God who renews strength and gives joy in the morning. The Bible tells us, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). We pray that the Lord would lift this weight from your shoulders and fill you with His peace and energy to walk in His purposes for you each day.
We also stand in faith for your husband’s healing and long life, believing that God is the Great Physician who hears our cries. *"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord"* (James 5:14). We pray that his body would be strengthened and that his heart would be softened toward you, that frustration would be replaced with patience and understanding. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and we ask the Lord to restore the love, closeness, and joy you once shared. *"Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good. In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate to one another; in honor preferring one another"* (Romans 12:9-10).
We also bring your financial need before the Lord, trusting that He is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). We pray that He would open doors of opportunity and bless the work of your hands, that you would lack no good thing.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved and approach Your throne. We ask that You would pour out Your grace upon this sister and her marriage. Renew her strength like the eagle’s, that she may run and not be weary, walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). Heal her husband’s body and calm his spirit, that their home would be a place of peace and unity. Meet her every need according to Your riches in glory, and let her trust in You grow deeper each day. We rebuke the spirit of procrastination, frustration, and division in Jesus’ name, and we declare that this family is covered by the blood of Christ. May Your will be done in their lives, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ holy and precious name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises, even when the days feel long. The enemy would love to steal your joy, your hope, and your marriage, but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and continue to seek Him in prayer and His Word. You are not alone—we stand with you in faith, believing that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
