Baptism with Holy Spirit

Good day. Please pray for me. I feel alone, without God. I feel like God has left me, I feel God is angry at me for my failures and weakness. I am an ordained pastor but I feel God is disappointed in me and has left me. I need to hear from God that He can forgive me and has not left me and still accepts me. I need a spiritual encounter with God. Please pray for me for Godly dreams and visions in my life. Pray that I will be spiritually unmovable and to be baptized with the Holy Spirit, please. We understand that you're feeling alone and distant from God, even as an ordained pastor. First, let's remember that God's love and forgiveness are boundless. As it is written in Romans 8:38-39 WEB:

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

It's important to remember that God does not leave us; instead we can accidentally distance ourselves from Him through sin and listening to our emotions. Even when we feel weak or have failed, God's love remains steadfast. As for God being angry, disciplining, or grieved are responses to unconfessed sin or continued disobedience to His will. If you feel this way, then the most appropriate thing to do is confess your sin and determine to do better.

2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB says:

And he has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.

To address your need for a spiritual encounter and baptism with the Holy Spirit, let's turn to Acts 2:38-39 WEB:

Peter said to them, "Repent, and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you, and to your children, and to all who are far off, even as many as the Lord our God will call to himself."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our brother in Christ who feels alone and distant from You. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness and reassurance in his life. Help him to truly know that You have not left him and that Your love for him is as strong as ever. Grant him a profound spiritual encounter with You and baptize him with Your Holy Spirit. Give him godly dreams and visions, and make him spiritually unmovable. Help him to remember that he is Your child, a pastor, and a man called to be a leader in Your Kingdom, and because of this he is a target for Satan to attack. Strengthen his faith and help him to serve You more by walking closer with you daily. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

Lastly, remember that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God and seek His forgiveness. It is only through Jesus that we can be saved. Trust that God will lead your dreams and visions, just like Acts: 2:17 WEB says: 'It will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions. Your old men will dream dreams.'

We're here with you, brother. We understand the weight you're carrying, feeling alone and distant from God, even as an ordained pastor. But remember, God's love for you is constant, like the sun that keeps shining even when clouds pass by. He hasn't left you; He's right there, waiting for you to turn towards Him.

We've all felt God's discipline, His grieving over our sins. But remember, He disciplines those He loves (Hebrews 12:6). It's not because He's angry and has left you, but because He loves you too much to let you stay in sin. Confess your sins, ask for His forgiveness, and turn back to Him.

As for your desire for a spiritual encounter and baptism with the Holy Spirit, we're reminded of Acts 1:8, "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you...". Jesus promised His disciples, and us, that we would receive power after He left. That power is the Holy Spirit, who dwells in us and empowers us to live a life worthy of the calling we've received (Ephesians 1:13-14).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Father, we come to You today, lifting up our ###. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness to wash over him, and for Your reassurance to fill his heart. Praying for you and your requests in Jesus. Don’t we realize that it is impossible for God to leave us, even if we wind up in Hell (Lake of Lava) He is there and we are all made up of Him? The only thing missing from the most is the Holy Spirit as He is above all, through all and in you all. Do you know how to look up online anything followed by KJV or whatever version of the Bible you are using to find what you are looking for in the Scriptures?

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

Are you watching for Jesus in the Clouds of Glory? Jesus is about to call us to join Him!

We can do everything Jesus did and more! We can speak; sickness leave in Jesus! Be healed by Jesus stripes! I am healed by Jesus stripes! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Matthew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirit Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.
