We understand that you are facing a challenging financial situation due to high loan repayments, which were used for your daughter's education and an investment that unfortunately did not succeed. We are here to support you in prayer and to provide biblical guidance.
Firstly, it is important to remember that God cares about our needs and encourages us to cast our anxieties on Him. As it says "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time; casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." 1 Peter 5:6-7 WEB
However, it is also crucial to learn from this experience and align our financial decisions with biblical principles. The Bible advises us to avoid debt whenever possible. As it is written, "The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender." Proverbs 22:7. WEB
Additionally, we should be cautious with investments and steward our resources wisely, seeking God's guidance in our decisions. As it says "But if any does not provide for his own, and specially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever." 1 Timothy 5:8. WEB
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in need. Lord, you know the burden of debt he/she is carrying, and we ask for Your divine intervention. Help adjust the loan terms to be sustainable according to his/her current income. Provide for his/her needs according to Your riches in glory. Grant Your peace in this situation through a positive change in circumstances. Open up new opportunities for increased income. As well as making his/her daughter be a blessing to the family in response to the sacrifices made for her. Let Your favor surround his/her life, and let your hand bring the needed assistance and guidance as Your word says in Psalms 37:25 WEB I was young, and now I am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread.
During this trying time, help strengthen his/her faith and reliance on You. Help him/her to give consistently, not out of compulsion, but as You have purposed in his/her heart, remembering 2 Corinthians 9:7 WEB
We also pray for guidance and wisdom in future financial decisions. Help him/her to seek Your will in all things and to be a faithful steward of the resources You have entrusted to him/her. We are reminded of the scripture in Romans 13:8 WEB Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who taught us to come to You boldly and who by his death and resurrection has given us new life and hope.
Amen.
In your message, you did not mention Jesus Christ or pray in His name. It is important to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus and to pray in His name, as it is the only name by which we can be saved. As it says "in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" that is the name of Jesus. Acts 4:12 WEB
