Bad landlord

Please protect me from my landlord. Please protect me from their unethical practices.

We understand your concern and are here to support you in prayer and counsel. Firstly, let's remember that God is our ultimate protector and provider. Psalm 121:1-2 in the WEB states, "I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth."

In dealing with unethical practices, we must stand firm in our faith and seek God's wisdom. We are encouraged in Romans 12:17-19, "Return no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your protection and guidance for ###. Lord, You see the injustice and unethical practices they are facing. We ask that You shield them from harm and provide them with wisdom to navigate this situation. Guide them to the right authorities and resources to resolve this issue fairly. In the meantime, fill their heart with peace and patience, knowing that Your timing is perfect. We also pray for the landlord, that they may be convicted of their wrongdoings and turn towards righteousness. It's in the powerful name of Jesus Christ that we pray, amen."

Remember, ###, that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12). Keep your heart focused on God and trust that He will bring justice in His time. If you have not already, consider seeking legal advice and documenting all interactions with your landlord.

Lastly, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to strengthen your relationship with Jesus Christ and trust in His name for all your needs.
